Are you saying that limpers are more ■■■■■■■■ than full time ■■■■■■■?
Firstly wash the curtains with a strong smelling fabric conditioner, and soak the seat with Fabreze.
I have an Airwick battery air freshner, with a citrus aerosol refill that goes off every few seconds.
It’s not that I stink btw (well as far as I know anyway) it’s just that I like my cab interior looking and smelling nice.
I leave it on all weekend and it smells like a cross between an Orange grove and a ■■■■’s boudoir when I get in it at start of week …and it lasts.
It creates a certain ambiance (not to be confused with an ambulance) and a pleasant work environment when combined with my poofy curtains.

id think it was due to the fact that limpers are constantly getting the shagmobile of the fleet when the regular drivers off that after a while they get immune to the wiff.there not exactly going to give a good drivers pride and joy to a limper to trash when he is on holiday.

If you’ve read the OP, the wagon is “clean” it just stinks. I’m no prude, I’m not scared by some dirt or grime but this smell is unreal. Also, I found that driving with the windows down makes the smell worse somehow.

milk■■? you wish…though if you ever want to completely trash a car/truck,ust pour a pint of milk into the heater vents/ducts…leave it there for a week or 2 and then the smell will be eye watering and irremoveable

Dampen the stains, cover overnight with baking soda, when dry hoover it. Next cover it in coffee powder leave a few hours, or overnight again, hoover it.
Cover with fabreze…job done.

if its not milk,then www.howtoremovesomeonesgreebliesfromyou … ertoit.com might work better…
Autosmart have a produce called Brisk, or Bio Brisk which is ideal for removing milk stains
Looks as if nobody agrees with my Expensive truck cleaning products v Cheap household stuff theory theh eh?
Ah milk, the only way to get rid of the smell is to remove and dispose of whatever the milk has dried into, company will have to supply a new mattress, end of.
One of my ex colleagues spilt a milky coffee in the (under the bed tray) on my then Scanny, he mopped it up as best he could but didn’t remove the rubber liner and a small spot was left to fester.
About a month later the most awful smell started and it got worse and worse, after several weeks of driving with the window thinking a rodent had got somehow trapped in the cab and died i eventually traced it, pulled out the liner and there was a stain about 2" round, long since dried, quite how such a tiny dry stain could produce such a foul stink is one of the wonders of the world.
Steam cleaned the liner, left it in the sun for days, put it through the dishwasher you name it, that bloody smell was impregnated into the rubber and didn’t diminish no matter what i did to it, ended up binning the thing, the plastic of the tray itself washed off ok.

Mumsnet/trucknet cheap cleaning tips are fine and are what will probably be used due to the skinflint nature of truckers. My own Autosmart addiction is used to feed my car cleaning habits
Rental place are taking the truck back and replacing the mattress. Last night was the worst night sleep I ever had. They are putting me in a different truck tomorrow so fair play to them.
