But I do a few nights out and come to the realisation that I need some form of entertainment in the cab. No, not cocaine and hookers before anyone says it!
Can anyone recommend a decent Tellybox / smart telly that I can also mount to the cab wall? Plus, are they easy to mount to the cab wall? Would be a bit wary of going through some sort of cable or something!
Additionally, if anyone has a smart Telly, how do you connect to WiFi? Do you just hotspot off your phone? Or do you need to get some sort of dongle, if that is still a thing!?
I used just use hotspot off my phone didn’t use that much data.
Lot easier using a smart TV than years ago messing about with airels etc.
If use motway services and get near the buildings you can sometimes pick up there free WiFi signal.
If park on estates if there’s a b n q they offer free wi-fi.
Some truck stops offer free wi-fi
I bought a touchscreen this week for about £60 to pimp my exercise bike at home, never realised that some phones can now use an external display via the usb-c. My phone isn’t new enough, but if it was I recon that would do me quite well when parked up.
Actually as I am home it dawned on me I can plug in the firestick in a heartbeat, looks fine to me, not sure how it would fair from hotspot wifi while out and about, and I don’t think the firestick would recognise the touchscreen.
