Not sure if this the right forum, or whether the topic has been covered before, but was wondering if anybody has any photos from CV Shows over the years.
Rather than press photos, i’d like to see any from members own collections, in particular from Earls Court or the early days at the NEC.
Many happy days spent as a kid going to these 
Went to the last one at earlscourt 75 or 76? then the first one at the NEC in 78 then 80 & 82 . You could sit inside the lorries when it was at Earls court 
Would be excellent if someone took pics

Like you Boris, I used to go as a youngster to Earls Court. My dad was originally from Surrey, so we’d make a weekend of it, doing the show, sightseeing, and visiting the family.
It seemed to lose some of the atmosphere when it moved to the NEC, but don’t know if that was due to the venue or the reduction in manufacturers.
Can’t believe that nobody has any photos. Found a few copyrighted on the Chris Hodge website that may be of interest. Can still feel the atmosphere!
