Well, I’ve been training all week and have got my test tomorrow, I feel pretty competent, but wondered if any of you more experienced chaps could offer any advice of things to specifically watch out for when taking the test.

If you have been driving well in the latter part of your training then drive THAT WAY on test - don’t try to do it any different.
Just listen carefully to the examiner’s instructions. If you’re not sure, ask for them to be repeated. Some times two similar sounding directions can mean the difference between being in the wrong lane or not. 
Not a big deal if you recover yourself safely.
Just sit back, relax and enjoy the drive.
