Top Job Jay Hoe, well done.

Well done that man… Congratulations buddy…

Thanks again all. Got a text from the agency last night offering class 1 work all next week. I don’t know more about it yet so have no idea if it is good or not.

I shall be looking for permanent employment, but cash in the bank and experience has to be good.

Cheers all.

Well done mate and once again excellent write up of your test and lessons!

Yon done brilliant on your class 2 and now youve done class 1., well done mate

Hi all again and thanks for the congrats - it is much appreciated.

I am doing class 1 all next week via my agency for a client I was doing class II for just efore I started my artic training. The money is not great, but I think that there is something to be said for working for someone where I know the routines, the product being shifted, the locations etc. Also, I think that it is good that he is willing to let a total newbie cart off one of his artics and ‘have a play in it’ (his words.)

So, in return for his confidence and loyalty to me, I am happy to get some real practice and experience albeit for not the best money. This will obviously help me build my confidence, ready for going to another site ‘cold’.

I am really looking forward to it.

As an aside, the other chap trining with me also passed in the afternoon I found out with 14 minors. So he just got thru, but a pass is a pass.

Cheers all

That’s great news John and well done to that other
chap on passing is class 1 also  .

Its great that your getting out there straight away John.
Just remember to take things nice and easy. Its a different kettle of fish driving a lorry in the real world compared to driving one for your test.
When I passed, and started driving for real, the first thing my instructor said, was “Everything you learned for your test??.. throw it right out the window, coz it aint like that in the real world”…
Some things are, like looking before pulling away, checking mirrors etc.
But just take your time and you’ll be fine…

All the best to you John…
