Very well done on your pass O/P.
I remember obtaining my Class 1 nearly 10 years ago and posting on here the same day.
Rog went bonkers with his animated gifs on that day too [emoji3][emoji3]
Death, taxes and Rog gifs. Haha

Well done on getting there. You may start wondering why you bothered because it is a thankless occupation.
I passed my C+E thirty nine years and six days ago and never bothered to do it full-time and I have never regretted that decision.
Anyway best of luck with your new career.

But you come on the UKs biggest truck forum to talk about the job, right?

I did two five year periods of casual C+E and that convinced me that I had made the right decision. The average operator treats drivers as a commodity that must be obtained at minimal cost. At my second spell from 2008-2013 I was earning less per hour at the finish than at the start.
Reading many of the posts on here shows that I am not alone in my thinking.
