If this is with a LGV training school then all will be provided for you and if not then come back here and tell us which school is not doing so
Cheers ROG.
Yeah, I am going with a training school, I’m going down to Peter Smythe’s place to do it.

They will give you gloves for your class 1 training. Also hi viz.
HOWEVER - they are the rubbery type. Nothing wrong with that. But I find them annoying when winding legs up and down. So I would take your own in the style you prefer. Makes winding the legs up and down much easier.
As said Pete’s place will provide you some new gloves and a hi viz to wear. The gloves are not the best being rubber as said but your only using them for a few days to keep your hands clean after all.
But if you want to take your own gloves feel free to do so.
You will be well looked after at Peters Place. No worries about that.
Thanks all for the comments. I totally agree with the gloves issue; I don’t recall the reason that these are the ones we use. It’s not cost as they’re not particularly cheap. I wouldn’t be surprised if a H&S expert has had input haha!
But if that the only criticism, I’ll sleep well in my bed!
OP all the very best with it.

Either wet rainy days work or handling glass? (been doing both today, EVERYone had rubber fingered gloves.)
Sammy, turn em back to front so the cloth back is on your palms
