First of 6, 3 hour lessons starting tomorrow at 1.30pm.
Start each day coupling up, then out on the road/reversing exercises.
excited and nervous - already thinking about test day a bit!
Forget the bloody test day, that will have an effect on your training and your concentration
What are you training on an artic or a wagon & drag ?
Yeah good advice I will forget it when I’m busy training anyway.
Doing it in an artic. It is auto.
will do a lesson in a manual as and when but made my choice on the school and truck I want to learn in.

It was great first day really enjoyed it.
Couple/uncouple was racking my brains beforehand but doing it fell into place quickly and easily and covered a lot of check points.

Well done Dave! The coupling/uncoupling soon clicks when you get a job mate. When nobody is watching you its much easier lol.
Its a great feeling being sat up high in the artics.

I found the BLACK method and reversing it works perfectly, it’s already firmly in my mind and look forward to doing on my own accord tomorrow and the trailer checks so it all really beds in.
Instructor is a great guy as well which helps!
