C, C+E and C+E job, all in under 7 weeks

OK, I admit it, I am hyped and need to tell the world (or this very small part of it).

Seven weeks ago I had only my car licence. 26th January I passed my C, 23rd February I passed my C+E, both thanks to Peter Smythe Training.

Today, 13th March, I had my induction drive of 112 miles in an artic, my first time in an automatic truck. Tomorrow is my first shift on my own. A nice easy one, Durham to Dunbar and back empty.

When I get over the euphoria I may do another post about how I did my job hunting.

But for now I will settle for posting a picture of ‘my new wheels’.

Thanks to everyone on here who has helped and encouraged me to get this far.

Alan
