Great shot! Loving the Clydesdale with it’s ‘hand painted’ logo on the side of the body! 
A few of the staff from the offices on low road 1976?L to R Jean? Edith Jeffries,Mary Staniforth, Geraldine? Ann Peacock,Pat Wilkinson.The driver of the van not sure,the staff were taken on a tour of the quarry,plenty of activity during the 70s,pretty slack now only running 13 lorries.At its peak 42 butlers lorries plus plenty of contractors.
Just heard today Holme Hall Quarry (stainton) ex butlers is up for sale,at the moment owned by tarmac.

Hi,been told that marshalls have put a bid in for holme hall quarry,and it has been rejected so they have put a higher bid in,no idea about the figures though,keep you posted.cheers paul.

I work for Trupak at Bawtry. We were told Marshalls were going to buy us too. Nothing ever came of it!
Hi Killsville,spoke to a chap on wed who works at marshalls he was told breedon& marshalls have submitted bids,could be end of jul begining aug before we find out who was successfull with bid.regards paul.
