Every man & his dog know that all these “security clearance” journo’s on their non-secured non government phones are monitored by the China & Russia. Not a single one of those good ol boys have any merit whatsoever to be in a governmental position.
Oh dear, but that’s what you get when you pay monkeys megabucks.

The USA hold the world cup next year, I wonder how that’s going to pan out. I hope all countries stay well clear for fear of being locked up in detention centres. The UK & Germany have already told tourists etc going to the USA to make sure they have everything in order before flying.

The rowing events at World Championships and the Olympics since 1912 have always been over a 2000 metre course. Except this time; the sports world governing body has kow towed to the Americans because Los Angeles only has a 1500 metre course.
There was one exception in 1948 when the Olympic rowing was at Henley. The traditional regatta course was shortened from 2112 metres to 1929 metres to allow three abreast racing.

The American gallon is just over 6 imperial pints instead of 8. They just changed the length of the course to fit in with this thinking that less water meant less rowing

Exactly, they want to on-shore jobs back to America but will only be able to compete with Chinese prices the Americans are used to having by paying slave wages.

They don’t have the brains to realise that by detaching themselves from Europe this will lead to European companies buying closer to home. No more Boeing etc and who’s going to be buying their military hardware. There will be unemployment on a scale never seen since the 30’s. But Trump and his acolytes will be okay, so nothing to worry about.

I know geographically we are part of Europe, but I personally consider myself British …not European.
So as far as I’m concerned the Yanks can say wtf they like about Europe, and if whatever they have said pertains specifically and negatively to the EU, …they are more than likely bang on correct with their analysis anyway.
I don’t know if the Yanks actually know that we are no longer in the EU.
