Busy Mr Trump

I didn’t say he was, but you made a point about Trump being elected and inferred that the Nazi leader was not elected, when of course he was.

The point being that just because someone is elected does not mean they are any good, merely that they have persuaded enough people that they are, so means no more than that.

Yep I agree…
But you have just described every election in all political elections in all the world since modern time began.
So again…what’s your point?

its just their in thought out hatred there is no logic to it…

they havent managed to work out yet that voroshilov married a jew and the principles were highly based in semetisam and the last person they would of recruited is a natzi but lets not let historical facts spoil their hatred huh

I just find it amusing the hate being spewed here on a daily basis, particularly from one particular poster who seems intent on a mission to break the world record for most memes posted in a day. :joy:

Yet not a peep from any of them about the almost daily catastrophe we are witnessing in our own country from surely the most inept government we’ve ever had.

^^^^^^Speaking of inept government…
As I was saying earlier…

None of yer…’ We’re going to smash the gangs’’ dog sh from this guy..oh no.

Perhaps they could start eating their silly hats instead.

Oh, dear! Nazi boy’s Cyberturd is becoming uninsurable.

I know you don’t like this guy…and tbf he can be a bit of a d1ck, I get that…‘Chainsaw Boy’ (I was about to say ‘‘With little man syndrome’ but after a check at 6’ 2’’ he’s an inch bigger than me. )

I also know you are an EV fan where as I aint…
So that said.and to keep an open mind just for a minute…
Do you really think there is a Tesla boycott, down to a hatred for Musk by the Trump haters?

Do you not think it is more of a ‘biased media’ stunt, a rumour/lie to fit an agenda for similar minded people to digest ?

Can you really see consumers, potential buyers, and past owners/fans of Teslas taking that stance …JUST for the dislike of an individual?

Maybe you do I don’t know.., I’m just asking, and trying to put foreard a more rational and plausible theory.

Could another theory for drop in sales be that Tesla no longer have the virtual monopoly on Electric cars?, and that MANY other competitors offer a good better (or even cheaper but as good) alternative for their similar models ?
ie…Market forces rather than purposeful boycott?

Put it this way say…If people in politics who I dislike…Starmer for instance, got to be best bosom buddies with Mental Milliband, (the ultimate d1ck who makes Musk look rational) who just happened to own say …Land Rover for sn instance, …
Do you actually believe Land Rover owners would go elsewhere because of the mad assed antics of Milliband?..
(Btw I know Land Rovers are gas guzzlers and it would never be with Milliband.., but just go with it.:grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:)

If it was me and despite my gross dislike for Milliband, and then say the price dropped considerably to sell them off again, would I be saying… ‘I aint buying this car I love, because I don’t like the politics of the idiot who owns them, I’m off to buy a Jap alternative which is much derarer instead’’ .

''Would I F …I’d be buying one for me AND one for the Mrs…(.maybe in pink knowing the wife.:joy:)

I just do not think this has anything or at least very little to do with the way it is being attempted to be put across by certain media outlets with their own agendas.

Oh it’s happening alright, Yeah, bad for EVs but since his nazi salute & saying Germans shouldn’t be ashamed of their past plus getting involved with the far right afd party, People can’t stand the slimeball & aren’t spending their coin on his EV’s.

Tesla used car prices are falling 3X faster than the rest of the car market. One paragraph in this article made me laugh.
“I tried to trade in my Model 3 Performance 2018 with fewer than 40,000 miles on the odometer last year, and Tesla basically offered me a Starbucks gift card and a goat.”

thing is though sales are down on all ev’s Go round your local dealerships and try buy one… you cant. In my area both toyota and peugeot have closed their doors and bmw arent that far off either.

Of course this goes against the official narrative of how its only tesla that is suffering but like with most things any reasonable person has realized they dont want a time bomb in their drive way and have seen past the crap about how its always diesels spontaneously combusting even though they havent since the 70’s. But why let facts get in the way of a good witch hunt hey.

Over the full year, growth was delivered entirely by fleets, up 11.8% to reach 1,163,855 units, accounting for a record six in 10 (59.6%) new car registrations. Conversely, registrations by private buyers fell by -8.7% to 746,276 units – less than in 2020 when social distancing restrictions during the pandemic shut down the market for three months.1 The far smaller business sector saw uptake fall by -3.1% to 42,647 units

incase anyone wants to dispute the source its from the society of motor manufacturers and traders.

Yeah no doubt a few people with political awareness and leanings will decide not to buy a Tesla for the reasons in question, but I aint buying it that a succesfull MASS successful protest boycott is going on specifically with a political agenda…
I have googled it, and apparentlly a few actually are, but I think that is an aspect of the dropped sales rather than the main reason

As I said from a local pov my own lad is saying that at his dealership EVs are nowhere near as popular as the govts are trying to make us believe,.and that other competitive garages in the area who he knows, say the same.

I can not see me buying one anytime soon…why would I buy something less efficient against a wholly proven product?
If you want one…crack on, but not for me.
Maybe when they start taxing non ev.s to the hilt to lead you kicking and screaming into buying one I will have to, up to then…not a chance in hell.
And i certainly would not sleep in an electric truck…I would rather appear to be paranoid and over cautious than end up fried in bed.

thing is how long will it be before companies start following in the steps of dpd etc and buy this tat for us to drive. Your older than me (i think) so you may be able to retire i have another 25 years atleast

Oh yeah it will happen especially with these ‘’‘Up their own arses’’ type outfits, trying to make what they see as a ‘‘Good or right mpression’’ or ‘‘seen to be doing the right thing’’:joy: …but like everything else in this industry…with no real substance.

In my own case I can not see our lot falling for all the hype,.and by the time they do I will be in my villa in Portugal or Cyprus…dreaming btw.:joy:

well zelensky has to keep bleating about how he is being attacked (got to keep the money coming in for his lavish life style) and keep up the morale of his people so he doesnt get ousted when they realise what he is like

I’m seeing no other news yet mention of this, which makes me fear the very worst If piddletin really is making this announcement it can mean only one thing. He’s about to use tactical nukes in the hope of catching as many Ukrainian soldiers as possible, hence then to roll into the rest of Ukraine.
Tell me I’m wrong piddletin, I don’t like radioactive beef.

I see the terrorist organisation that is Palestinian Hamas (that description of them annoys the lefties no end :joy:) was naive enough to ignore Trump s threat of ‘Raising hell’ if the hostages were not released quick enough,.with Israel in the background waiting for the wordand chomping at the bit to get into action if they did not, and obviously waiting for Trump to give the word after the terms given to Hamas.

They should have known the guy does not f.about and dilly dally…now they have been attacked because of their stubborness, disregard and naivety of Trumps ways.

I do not feel sorry for the vile terrorist organisation, it is as ever the poor innocent civilians (on either side) that have suffered again.

As ever Palestine claims all innocence and have the cheek to accuse Israel of a ‘‘Terrorist Attack’’.

I do not pretend to know all the politics and ins and outs in the ME, but will there ever be peace there, whatever happens?

I work on the M&S contract and we are already starting to get trucks to comply with all the net zero crap. Our fleet is made up of traditional diesels, some LNG and the company has just purchased a load of CNG Iveco’s.

Also our depot down at Welham Green is now trialling some electric Renault units.
