The MOJ has masses of data of inmates which includes crimes committed and nationality of offenders, 2 plus 2 equals? The information is all there. What is not released is the crimes committed by (amongst others) different religious groups, different races & different nationalities, this deemed SENSITIVE INFORMATION. Which bit do you not comprehend?

The DoJ holds data that is available. That is not all the data.
Data that is not available cannot be published.
Having lots of data is not all data.
I repeat Jenrick was asking for more data because some data is not available. It is not collected/collated. The DoJ does not have some of the data you repeatedly assert it does have.

So you are now relying on scraping up every word of your mate Jenrick, you know, the very right wing firebrand, funny innit you constantly rubbish words spoken by him, but now it’s any port in a storm mixed with poacher turned gamekeeper.
So once again the crimes committed are recorded, the nationality of prisoners is recorded, the ethnicity of the prison population is recorded, but to link type of crime committed by ethnicity grouping or nationality grouping is sensitive information.

Why is Jenrick… someone (who we might agree) would want to support his arguments about race …asking for more data, if it that data already exists?
There is some data there, there is lots of data there, but not enough to make any sensible comments on.
So once again, the nationality of inmates is recorded, the ethnicity of inmates is recorded. 2 plus 2 here equals 4, simple really. BUT the linking of ALL nationalities & ethnicities and even self declared homosexual inmates as a percentage to their crimes committed is sensitive information.

So once again nationality and ethnicity is recorded of inmates but grouping crimes committed by nationality or ethnicity is sensitive information, just as is the grouping of crimes committed by homosexuals and then publishing which crimes they mostly commit.
If you know that a representative sample is taken from a complete data set then useful conclusions, can be inferred.

So on the run up to a general election, pollsters can interview a few thousand people out of tens of millions of eligible voters and produce accurate statistics, yet on inmate figures held, the government are unable to produce statistics based on crimes committed linked to nationality or ethnicity.
