I want to see the clown crash the markets the way he’s going. He needs $billions to pay for tax cuts to the wealthy who installed him in there, He daren’t raise taxes so the only way he’s going to raise tax revenues is to put tariffs on everything & pass it off as being Patriotic.

It appears that he has already promised/spent any extra he gets on tariffs. And the tariffs are being suspended (almost) as soon as they are being imposed.
I predict his schemes will have the same resounding success as the “big beautiful wall, that Mexico will pay for”.

CBC seem quite good on their reporting and here is a piece on the sovereign wealth fund being proposed by Trump. Yet summat else the new money is promised to.
I can see that happening, but really hope it doesn’t. We all lose if he crashes the US economy.

I hate Starmer (purely from a political pov,) but I have said many times I would love it if him and his crowd actually got their arses into gear and made a success of things…there is no way in hell I would wish it that our economy crashed because of them.

Robroy, the lists I’ve been posting up are for the benefit for those who are on the fence about Trump and don’t know too much about the truth about his administration. The ‘independent swing voters’ if you will. A lot of people fall for the leftie ‘hate Trump’ trend and don’t bother to do any proper research outside of the mainstream media.
I don’t find it productive to get into debates and insults about Trump, and for what purpose? Am I really going to convince a leftie to change his mind? And vice versa.

Basically I have voted both Tory and Labour in the past, never gone down the route of a wasted vote on the Lib Dems, and I have even renagued on voting at all if I did not favour either of the parties.and their policies …
I have freely criticised the party I have voted for also, …I have zero blind loyalty.
There was a time in fact when it became a 'mono party! scenario whereby there was not a cig paper of difference virtylually between them.
So basically I am a non favoured party mercenary voter, whose priority is the good of the country and for me and my family…
I am certainly not brainwashed into following any party no matter how they change, that is just misguided loyalty, and blind servility…a practice carried out by a couple on here.

It seems that the State Department has ear-marked $400 million, to buy some vehicles: Armoured Teslas.
The smart businessman here is Musk.
He gave Trump a few million to help get elected. Now he is recouping that investment in Tesla sales. Partially financed by cutting health care for the needy. He also gets to sack the heads of agencies currently investigating him and his companies.

Yep good point, from my pov I would say MOST I have come across are immovable, and would vote Labour and such like if a baboon was in charge (as opposed to a bufoon at present ) closed minds with many of them in my experience.
