Busy Mr Trump

No problem with that, and I believe the UK does the same, just hasn’t got such a big gob about it as Trump. But the problem is he is deporting people who, while not citizens (yet), have nevertheless legal status as residents (as I have here in France) and have not been convicted of any crime. It is illegal by the laws of the USA and has been condemned as such by the highest court in the land, but, if we didn’t already expect it from a convicted criminal himself, we certainly do know now.

Ironically deportation instead of a US jail term might be considered an incentive to the foreign blaggers not a deterrent.

It would have been interesting to at least hear your reply, to the question of Russia’s 1963 Ballistic missile ‘interception’ capabilities.
But as expected you chose to dodge the question.

The Trump tariffs, whether they are currently on/off/postponed/exempted/camcelled or not are having an effect. THe US ports say they are seeing a decline in trade already. Walmart etc are saying some goods will be off the shelves soon.
(No! Sorry Drama Queens no one is saying the US will be starving tomorrow)
The MAGA crew will not be too happy I imagine
The dockers will not be earning overtime, in fact with US employment law they will not be earning much at all. Ditto the truckers hauling the stuff.
Time off for a few weeks? OK.
Time off with reduced income and nothing to shop for anyway? I can’t see the MAGA crowd being big fans of hiking etc. Maybe I am wrong.

Okay, you’ve reeled me back in. Firstly, the Cuban missile crisis was in 1962. Russian missile defence capability in 1963 is irrelevant.

Secondly, here’s the quote (from Wikipedia) and the source used in the article.

“By the time the Turkish Jupiters had been installed, the missiles were already largely obsolete and increasingly vulnerable to Soviet attacks”

Source: Plokhy, Serhii (2022). Nuclear Folly. A New History of the Cuban Missile Crisis . Penguin Books. pp. 214, 217..

Regarding your line about China and Russia being allies as Russia was supplying them arms you may want to consider this.

Trade makes strange bedfellows. Did you know that Iran was being supplied with arms during the 1980’s war with Iraq by Israel? Who would have thought that

As for your bizarre suggestion that the Sino/Soviet confrontation was staged are you also suggesting that the casualties reported are “fake news”. The reason I mentioned this conflict is because in 1969, shortly after Nixon came to power Russia was intending to attack - with nuclear weapons - the Chinese nuclear facilities. Not wanting to cause panic within the US military they informed them of their plans. The US were concerned about the radiation fall out as it would have covered a lot of areas where they had troops stationed (the Russians were only thinking about themselves obviously) and they told Russia in no uncertain terms that if they launched their weapons then the US would attack them. I could tell you the source for this but I don’t think you have the necessary security clearance.

A bit of advice (not that you’ll take it). Stop with the word soup when you post and research your answers properly. If you make a contentious comment make sure that it contains facts that won’t come back and bite you. You’re only making a fool of yourself in this and other topics.

Trump’s government deporting less people than Joe Bidens government did

U.S. President Donald Trump deported 37,660 people during his first month in office, previously unpublished U.S. Department of Homeland Security data show, far less than the monthly average of 57,000 removals and returns in the last full year of Joe Biden’s administration.

But did he do it legally, unlike Trump? I have no idea, but I know what I believe.

Here are three of Trump’s deportations. Should save the US quite a few quid.

The story originates from lawyers, not karen-offa-facebook.

You predictably seem a bit selective in your references to Wikipedia etc, comrade.
China supposedly was not allied with Russia in Korea or Vietnam.
Now let’s deliver up our forces on a plate on Russia’s turf and terms.
They’ll be fine, according to comrade Starmer.

Firstly we know how Russia got hold of our jet engine technology it was ‘a goodwill gesture’ by the Commy Atlee regime.

The US nukes in Turkey were no less effective than the Russian nukes put in Cuba in retaliation. It wasn’t about ‘what’ they were it was about ‘where’ they were and the motivation for putting them there in both cases.
So Kruschev chose the don’t get mad get even tactic and JFK said zb that for a game of soldiers let’s make a deal or we’ll have go to war and Kruschev said exactly the same thing. It’s all there word for word in the movie 13 days. The Russians were as ready and willing to end it all in a blaze of instant artificial sunshine as the US was and it’s never got closer with the exception of the Able Archer zb up which I was involved with at civil defence level. The film Threads was made soon after which actually understated the level of local authority planning and logistics and the effects of an all out nuke exchange.
Mistrust and destabilisation of the balance of power indeed.

A nice little read of the past and present, not much difference

There’s no point continuing to discuss anything with you. No matter what evidence you’re presented with you retreat to your fantasy world of communist domination.

Believe what you want, this is definitely my last response to anything you post.

Trump’s spokesperson Karoline Leavitt has bee talking to-day about Amazon.
She criticised their alleged plans to show the extra Trump tariff charge alongside the basic price of items. I believe in the US it is normal for taxes to be shown as a matter of course?

Anyone would think that Trump didn’t want the public to know what was happening! Isn’t he proud of what he is doing? Why does he want to hide his brilliance from his supporters? Let them rejoice every time they make a purchase, and contribute to tax cuts for Lone Skum.

Max Robespierre must be a reader of my posts!
OK, coincidence then.

Franglais, Jeff Bezos is a communist sympathiser who is trying to destabilise the US.

Thought I’d get that in before our modern day Joe McCarthy.

Thanks for the warning Dennis. I was almost fooled into thinking that he was some sort of US businessman!

@robroy Here is a wee video for you. It opens with an interviewer trying to stop the Orange One from making an idiot of himself. He doesn’t succeed.

It looks like a spoof. It isn’t.
Here is Huffpost on the same thing.

For balance
Some say that Trump “Shut the reporter down” The Fail for instance.

My take is that Trump was trying to shut up a valid point by seeking to belittle a reporter.
I note the Fail concentrates on Trump being an insulting Bully…towards someone Trump chose to be his interviewer... and ignores the fact that Trump is talking bollox. Again.

Ok…but why for me specifically?
I have already said countless times I aint a ‘‘fan’’ of Trump in the true definition oof the word, more…

An ‘admirer’ of his attitide, in terms of he hates the p4anty wetting lefties and takes no crap…both of which I can relate to.

Just that I like winding up said p4anty wetting lefties on here .. like yourself who takes his stuff oooooh so seriously.

Hope that clarifies, but I will watch the vid later (seeing as you took so much trouble to present it to me personally.)

What a load of bollox. Trump had him on toast, begging for forgiveness but they missed that bit out, typical commie media manipulated by the US commie media lackeys. Bet you didn’t know that Eisenhower and Nixon tried to hand over the complete Pacific fleet to China in the 50’s. It was well known that Nixon was a card carrying member of the COMMUNIST PARTY and had a tattoo of Chairman Mao on his left buttock. I saw a memo about it when I was working for the council so it must be true.
