Since having my licences revoked for 3 years I have recently got my car licence back, DVLA has told me I can apply for a psv licence. Advice please on best course of action as I still have 1_year to get high licence back
Go to a big company (Stagecoach, First etc) as they’ll put you through the licence and CPC and everything.
But be aware you’ll be tied in for two years afterwards.
The two years bit cant really be enforced. I have heard that at some depots you pay a small amount per week to cover the training costs.

You sign a contract, contained within it is the agreement to pay back an amount on a sliding scale which gets lower the closer you get to two years.
In my experience it depends on local management whether they decided to pursue it or not. Some of my old gaffers chased it, others never bothered.
Has anybody on here ever signed one of these contracts saying you’ll pay money back if you leave within 2 year?
I’m not sure that a company would chase you for it,I worked somewhere years ago and a couple of guys did it and left within the month,nothing ever came of it…

Yes, I did. It didn’t affect me as I stayed more than two years.
But I’ve seen people chased for it, equally I’ve seen people let off with it.

Why have they let you apply for a PSV ? Thought it was same rules for all vocational. Seems strange tbh

It does seem odd. Maybe it’s the same bloke under a different name on the other thread who’s a smack head trying to get a car licence from another country 
First take £12 a week out of your wages. For two years. But then give it all back to you.
