Well thats very good info, I spent two weeks in Malta on holiday of course, I spoke to one of their bus drivers who had a Commer cabbed bus, But he reckoned originaly it was a Hoults furniture van, It didnt have the Commer cab, But he said it was completely rebuilt with odds and sods from other vehicles, Clever stuff IMO. Regards Larry.
we went on holiday there for years , Burmarrad Commercials Ltd always was a good place to have a look at, always 2nd and 3rd or 4th hand ERF’s there, both complete and CKD , there was one C series in there which i remembered coming into corby tubeworks quite often to sub for us , really nice silver and blue livery ,went to them as a 38t tractor unit, the next year it had transformed into a 6x4 rigid bulk tipper.

Here’s another Dennis, Glasgow’s last Green Goddess tram, Bradford registration on the Elliott of York lorry wonder who used to own it, perhaps Ramone will remember it.

Cheeky ■■■■ Les i first thought that was the back of Thornbury tram shed the only bit that’s left . The front is now demolished and an eye sore a toral disgrace but that’s Bradford Council for you. I would think Elliotts had that from new but well before my time Les , did you work on them when they first came out (not the trams )
One of a large number of Leyland National buses operated by Ribble Motor Services.
This location is the top end of the town centre bus station in WIgan, 1970s/early 1980s.
The whole site is now occupied by The Galleries Shopping Centre. The Park Hotel across
Hope Street, was known locally as " Mrs Browns ", where a decent pint of bitter was served.

Hi Blue, Thank you for your Stagecoach info. I was never keen on the previous livery, but this one is worse.
This is purely my opinion, perhaps some will like it, so I will be interested to see what the single deckers
look like after they have passed through the paint shop. Cheers, Ray.

Hi, Thank you for the Stagecoach picture, I think it looks a more balanced livery than the double decker, Cheers, Ray.

You’re all jealous cos us boys on Promotor lived the high life. I will admit I didn’t have the penthouse suite (this time).
