he isn’t and he wasn’t
Firm needed a single deck bus for the route and told drive to figure it out.
Going by the pictures he must have gone through the tunnel from this side
Extraordinary
You have to be a certain kind of stupid to think you’d get a bus through there, single or double-decker. Was obviously off-route.

Next seasons open top ‘Hop on, Hop off’ bus!
This one in Manchester has claimed a few bus scalps in its time and still claims several goods vehicles each year:-
At 10’ that would be tight even for some single deckers.
I like the bit about headache relief on the move!!!.
All not lost.
The bus can do open deck tours now

Exactly, no ■■■■■■■ about there, took a proper run up and kept it lit all the way through…

My thoughts too, yet there’s a single decker stopped at the bus stop in the street view pictures.

The single decks we had when I was on the buses were 9 foot something. Now they’re low floor they don’t need to be as tall.

That is actually a bus route through there, the 27, remember the first time I took a single decker through it does not feel like you should be there!
If I remember right also their single deckers are marked as 10ft 6in inside the cab but its been specifically measured for the route and the bridge has slightly more clearance than marked/the buses are over marked. Obviously not a bloody chance for a double decker though
Entrance to the chocolate factory just before it.
