In the films a passenger runs up front grabs the wheel and the whole shebang comes to a halt on the hard shoulder. but nobody moved, instead we all were clutching the seat in front holding on for grim death. This rollercoaster went on for a couple of miles ,everyone who had noticed was petrified willing him to wake up-but saying nowt-and too scared too move - then elderly driver opens his window and the journey from then on carried on uneventfully.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a film with a bus driver falling asleep and someone running the length of it to grab the wheel.
