Bus Accident on A90

Reported on BBC news that a bus driver has died in a crash with a Tractor on the A90. Passengers were trapped on the upper deck after the stairwell and cab was destroyed.

My thoughts go out to the family of the driver involved, Im sure everyone at Stagecoach feels the same way,

A bus driver has died and two people have been slightly injured in a crash on the A90 dual carriageway.
The Megabus double-decker bus and a tractor collided at the Douglastown junction on the southbound carriageway on Friday afternoon.

A number of the 35 passengers were trapped in the top deck after the stairwell was damaged, but were later freed by firefighters.

It is understood most of those on board were students

Two people have been seriously injured after a school bus and two cars collided on Friday afternoon.
More than 40 pupils were in the double-decker bus, but none were seriously injured in the accident near Spalding. Some were treated in nearby hospitals.

The two injured people, who were cut from the wreckage, were taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King’s Lynn.

The accident on the A151 High Road at Weston involved pupils from Spalding Grammar School.

Lincolnshire police said the accident happened as one of the cars attempted to overtake the school service.

They are trying to trace the driver of a blue Astra who was at the scene, but drove off without leaving his details
