I am moving house soon if the solicitors ever get their fingers out of their arses, and was thinking of having a change of ISP, i see Bulldog are doing an 8meg offer WOW mega speed so i was wondering if anyone uses them and what they are like?.
I have no complaints about my current ISP NTL i just fancied 8meg.
Bulldog are aggresivly trying to capture as much of the market as possable. Unfortunatly they don’t have the infastructure or staff for their current expansion.
They apparently were on watchdog a short while back where a directors memo was leaked. It said sign them up to contracts and we will worry about sorting out the service/problems later.
The comments people have said that I know range from great to argh, it all depends how you well changeover went
So I guess you pay your money and take your chances.

You need to check if they actually offer the 8meg at the exchange that you will come under, from what I gather it is mostly in London and outside of that area you may well only get 500k service. They have not been receiving the best press recently somay be worth sticking with your current isp until they settle down and sort themselves out.
I’ll second that. Different thing I know but in the early days I was with Compuserve and sometimes it took an hour (yes I checked it once) to get connected, and that was a wasted phone call every minute. They sorted themselves out eventually and I always resisted the blandishments of Freeview etc. when they came along, thinking I would have to go through the same teething problems all over again.
Never left C/Serve till I came here and realised that they were discriminating on software upgrades against non-UK subscribers, and against UK clients in comparison to US. This was after the AOL takeover and I think they were running C/serve into the ground.
