BST to GMT

as we all know the clocks go back this weekend. (i didnt until i read daveys hour guard thread about changing th etimes on them) but how do we manage or rests.

if i was driving tomorrow and stopped overnight somewhere at say 2200BST and at 0300BST the clocks go back to 0200GMT what time can i start driving again?

im guessing it will be at 0600GMT as i will have fulfilled my 9 hours rest or would it be more prudent to wait until 0700GMT to be on the safe side?

any thoughts on this■■?

2200 BST + 9 hours = 0700 BST or 0600 GMT so you can resume work at 0600 GMT should you wish. There is no valid reason to wait for 0700 GMT, unless you want a 10 hour daily rest. If you are using a digi tacho the times are in UTC, which is as close to GMT as to make no difference, and would show the rest period from 2100 - 0600 anyway.
