brugge park up

Hi all , my pall is looking for somewhere to park up and have few beers with his wife around brugge, near city centre. Its his first trip and would like to help him. Anybody know any safe tuck parks please

Thank you John[/i]

try parking at the total garage zeebrugge and getting the tram into brugge
you dont wanna be taking a truck into brugge

When you are at the TZZ , try asking there
as you will be surprised there are lots of nice
places on the coast road between Zeebrugge
abd Ostend which you may like and enjoy as well.

yeah used to park uo there alot back in the 90’s i have heard that the resterant has closed but there are plenty in zeebee or the old fish dock the tram goes from dunkerque to the dutch boarder

dont know about the restaurant but the garage is now closed at night time ,i shipped tilbury zeebee a few weeks ago an went to the total to get me vienette and it was closed 23-00>6-00. :frowning: Im sure the garage use to be open 24/7?

The resto at TTZ used to close after lunch time Sat’ until Monday morning.

The Petrol station was open all weekend tho’, but not Sunday night. They did breakfast till about lunchtime on Sunday. It was a basic breakfast and a take it or leave it option. Scrambled eggs or omelette, with or without bacon.
We often used the Chinese resto’, just up the road at the traffic lights on Sunday night.

Si, is, as usual, spot on. I’ve parked up there many a time, whilst waiting for a certain ferry company to finish breaking trailers…
Restaurant is open for lunch, and dinner weekdays, but parking is free (as evidenced by the huge numbers of eastern europeans there), and the tram is 15 mins walk away (or less) It’s probably the best place, the other alternatives are: The shell on the ay from zeebe to the E40 (almost no facilities worth mentioning and trying to catch a bus from there, or the laybys on that road, or on several other minor N roads in the area.
Personally, TZZ is the one for me every time.

Tram does not run to Brugge. It only runs along the coast. As has already been suggested, park anywhere along the coast road either side of Blankenburg and run into there on the tram - very pleasant town and you won’t get ripped off. Brugge is 12 miles away on the train if you insist.

Damned fine chippy in Blankenburg (the one with the blue lights in the window) has plenty of British customers. Got me a half chicken, with chips for under 6 euro, and sarsons vinegar on my chips too!
