A tractor with a trailer stacked full of hay bales caused delays when it broke down in Telford today.
The vehicle broke down in Waterloo Road outside the Ketley Cod and Shropshire Star offices at around 2.55pm.
It was stuck in the left hand lane at the traffic lights on the crossroads with Holyhead Road and motorists were forced to go around the vehicle as the tractor’s driver waited for assistance.
We need a straw poll to see how the tractor driver should be dealt with.
Don’t complain too much Dave, “they’re working men…they feed the nation…they’re all poor…”
…Okay, so the last one is a gross exaggeration.

And they have the weather to contend with Nathan but at least they have a cab on the tractor to keep dry these days.
Weird, sounds like it was an agricultural tractor yet the trailer seems to have working lights and a VRM displayed. I agree a most unusual occurence, definitely worth posting.
Doesn’t mean the numberplate belonged to anything on the farm though. What a break with a tradition though, the reg number isn’t chalked on. And where’s all the mud on the road?

Note how far the trailer wheels are from the kerb, definitely not a lorry driver.
