hiya,
Howay Norm get on board i’ll fix you up with some ■■■■■■ for when we get a run ashore or jump ship, and there’s still a four pot Gardner down the shed should be big enough to push that tub along, and Norm remember when taking the ■■■■■■ be sure to swallow it quick i do’nt want you finishing up with a stiff neck cos i’m not doing all the rowing.
thanks harry long retired.

Ye and me must be from the same stock “H” as I was born a “Makem” so we must be from the same Viking stock and Norm comes from the wrong side of the Pennines but I’m sure we could teach him the finer points of Pillaging !! As long as he kept a brew on and could fry the bacon for the sarnies when we came back from a good morning’s plundering he would be OK.Bewick.

hiya,
Nice to hear from you Keith, don’t like rum, once nicked a stone jar of diluteing rum when serving in Korea it was supposed to be dumped we was pulling out from there and i thought it was too good to waste i got myself and others in one hell of a state finished in the sick bay and eventually in the glasshouse, got a real sickener and can’t stand the smell of the stuff to this day, but no such problems with a drop of Bell’s and old Norm is a teetotaller so you’ve got the rum to yourself and you can serve it up to slaves to keep the scurvy at bay, i’d sooner have scurvy.

Hi boys
Norm I’m a little disapointed it sounds as if your not looking after yourself. You need to get down to your local gym and get your muscles built up in case the TM comes on and wants you to do a bit of relif (driving that is). Thinking about it rowing on that boat would be good exercise and they tell me they have rowing machines at these gyms so you can hone your skills there so you needn’t be embarrassed on the day

Regards Keith

hiya,
Although having lived in the North East for thirty seven years can only claim to be a semi skilled Durhamanian i too am from the other side of the Pennines the Lancs area where i was born and lived for very nearly thirty six years, God i’m old and well past rowing, ■■■■■■ and pillaging, but will come along to crack the whip if that helps, and could help rope and sheet the stolen cargo, the sails might flap but my sheeting won’t “giz a job”.
thanks harry long retired.

No Keith, I think I am not used to the cold night air, and got a cold on my chest, it affects my asthma and I have a job to do a hundred yard dash, because I am breathless before I start, just had a puff from my inhaler, so I am not feeling so sorry for my self :unamused: :unamused: :unamused: , see you lads, the old women getting on to me, nag nag nag     bye.

Hi Norm & Harry,
What you two drivers need is some aerostart to get you going,a couple of puffs of that and you will explode into life.
Take care fella’s.
Cheers Dave.

hiya,
Can’t do anything with the ladies Dave, and i have no inclination of going the way of having a couple of puffs, won’t a drop of Bell’s work.
thanks harry long retired.

The cold I caught is not so bad today, so my breathing is better, yesterday I was scared to use the phone, in case someone thought I was a pervert doing heavy breating?    ,soon I shall be back to my obnoxius self, don’t all cheer a once. :grimacing: :grimacing: :grimacing: :grimacing:

hiya,
Never mind Norm so long as you keep on breathing, i don’t want to be the only daft “old git” on here, whoever said getting old can be fun, is as barmy as us lot, was reading about a 90 year old guy who was still working as a motorcycle mechanic on a daily basis, and i’m just glad i don’t have to ride them after he’d done work on them he would’nt have the strength to tighten the nuts and bolts, he should contribute on here he’s dafter than we are, i have’nt a clue what he’s trying to prove other than being possibly skint.
thanks harry long retired.

Just think Harry he would be a real expert on “tyres” for he should have retired long ago. :unamused: :unamused: :unamused:

Perhaps he’s had a retread Norm.

hiya,
My missus could do with a re-bush, somebody suggested pushing a ham shank up and just removing the bone, can’t afford a ham shank, tell you what if she ever becomes computer literate i’m stuffed.
thanks harry long retired.

Harry,Harry,Harry, be very careful, you know there might be a goverment grant for retraining !

hiya,
Andrew at the moment she has no interest in the things and can’t understand why i spend so much time online, just tell her i have a bit of chat with some lads who do the same job as i did and the little love believes me, but she thinks i’m losing my marbles because i burst out laughing from time to time at the jokes i read on here, just pleased she never looks over my shoulder, if she did i’d be dead meat.
thanks harry long retired.

Hi Harry, well if she does im a dab hand with a fridge.

hiya,
Andrew it’ll have to be a big un i’m a big lad as in “fat git”.
thanks harry long retired.

Well Harry, you know that were running at 44 these days !!

hiya,
Well now your talking Andrew should be OK with that, never did fridge work, the nearest i got was containers with “swinging” beef from Eire, Preston to Windsor the only problem was we had to backload electricals and getting rid of the dry ice and the bags was a problem there was lots of them per load and sometimes you had to travel miles to dispose of them.
thanks harry long retired.

Harry tell someone to shut the door to that fridge, I am not 100 per cent fit yet, I do not wish to get my asthma bad again. I can feel the cold air from here.

Keep puffing on the aerostart Norm it will open the tubes up,my other half suffers from asthma, not very nice,a bit frightening when you can’t breath, luckily she has been pretty good this winter.
Cheers Dave.
