Sniffy, I had one of those fords brand new on a Camping Gaz contract, after about two months the off side front wheel came off, hub as well down by Torbay, it was a faulty hub nut, it cracked in half, they was lovely to have a kip in, with the double passenger seat.   :unamused: :unamused: :unamused:

No harry, no reply from sniffy, what has happened, am I alone out here :grimacing: :grimacing: :grimacing: :grimacing:

Keith , Dave just informed me, he checked his profile, and he has been on today, probaly had a dram or two too much, and fell asleep watching darts. :unamused: :unamused: :unamused: :unamused:

Hi Keith,
I have, took it out for the pic I think, that was taken about seven years ago,it was quite shiney then,it’s the light reflecting that makes it worse on here,it still looks ok,it’s done 240,000 and doesn’t use any oil,and  with snow tyres on it will go through a foot of snow.
Cheers Dave.

Hi boys
Dave If you see Norm he might be able to sell you his old ME snow chains, cut them down to size and you would be good for snow a foot deep. I would hurry up though as the forcast is not very good for this week.

Regards Keith.

Keith,
It goes through a foot of snow no problem,we had over a foot in Feb 2007,only thing that stopped me was other vehicles getting stuck,I have vredestein snow tyres on it for the winter.
Cheers Dave.

Hi boys
Dave it sounds as if you need a plow on the front and get it on snow clearing
Norm it’s good to hear Harrys still around, you lads were starting to get me worried.

Regards Keith

hiya,
Still about chaps but the weather in this neck of the woods has been atrocious and i’ve been doing the driving for my old lady, she’s in health care working in the peoples homes and clocks up a fair bit of mileage but does’nt like driving in the snow and ice she starts at six thirty in the morning and does’nt get finished until nine thirty in the evening with a couple of hours off in the afternoon, her days are Sat, Sun, Mon and Tue, so i’ve got a couple more days to go, just hope i don’t exceed my hours, the thing here is she’s older than some of her clients and i’ve warned her this is the last year, she’s sixty seven silly bloody woman. Now Dave that red ■■■■■■ i’m afraid it does’nt qualify for red and rust membership maybe if you painted it with a four inch brush and put a few patches on it i could reconsider, the patches must be held in place with pop rivets though no fancy welding mind.
thanks harry long retired.

Hi Harry,
Its good to hear you are ok,also you are doing a good job ferrying your good lady around in bad weather, its good that someone like yourself with bags of experience is on hand to drive her around.
My old ■■■■■■ has plenty of rust, and has been painted a few times, the last time about three and a half years ago,an old boy aged 103 hit me,he cut his little Peugeot 205 in half and walked out of it,was back on the road the next day in another car which he owned,he passed on this year aged 106,had to admire him, even though he wasn’t safe.
Cheers Dave.

Sorry Harry I take back almost everything I said about you, if you have been doing a good deed, my wife used to work at a care home, but she pack in at 60, then she did PT for two years cleaning houses. Anyway Harry what experience have you for driving in snow■■? :smiling_imp: :smiling_imp: :smiling_imp: :unamused: :unamused: :unamused:    Did you bite

hiya,
Norm pedallled up and down Shap in some lousy weather over the years think it might just qualify me to drive my old jam jar round a few grotty snow and ice covered back streets, but if you don’t think i’m up to it you could always give me the sack i could do with a rest, i am past my prime you know.
thanks harry long retired.
