I got to admit, I was never a big fan of the D series, but, there was a thing about them I did like, they were a better kip as a day cab than stuff like the AEC for instance, and atki’s and the like that had a bonnet! Especially the D series that had the handbrake in the dash, they were almost a good bed if on the way to drunk!

Otherwise some good pictures, my old boss had an amazing 60s & 70’s photo album but that went missing when he died, his family must have it somewhere. I will try to contact his daughter
