Due to increased Volume of work we are currently looking to recruit the following drivers.

Class 2 drivers – £482.85 basic weekly earning for 55 hours.

Class 1 drivers – £537.85 basic weekly earnings for 55 hours

Additional overtime, nights out, and weekend work available.

Not bad basic hours are 20 more than a lot of other work at 55 then you can work overtime

Wrings do work for DSV in Avonmouth too.

They were advertising a while ago. I thought about it but could not afford the £120 a week drop in wages on the class 2 rate.

They all tend to advertise around now.
You’ll find a few more jobs appearing over the next few weeks as drivers shuffle around

The word additional also means that you have already worked overtime in the 55 hours. Also, why do they show your basic pay. Not everyone is on the same tax grade.
I can’t for the life of me figure out what the hourly rate is, which would help. Never been good at math’s.

Why can’t they show basic pay …I had 10 drivers all on same basic pay but all took home different amounts …people’s tax code is nothing to do with employer…

£537.85 ÷ 55 = £9.77 ish with the option to work extra hours. You can do better than that in avonmouth.

Indeed you can, Farm Foods pay £600 for a 48 hr week, however for the for profit sector (which is to be avoided at all cost) that pay is not to bad if the work is easy and straightforward they will get drivers.

Many drivers don’t like the procedure based nonsense of the big operators, somewhere where the boss knows your name and you get your own unit and so forth.

It’s about £8.50 hour basic for 40 hours plus 15 hours overtime at £12.75 hour.

And thats for class 1. My wife earns £9/hour working at a garden centre!!!
