For Brockley on the A370 coming South in the m5 should I come off at A4 or carry on down to j21 and come back up through congresbury ? I can be as early as it takes ,7.30 there would do thanks Dan .
What time of day ? Sorry coming from where ?
Where in Bristol?
Edit: Ok, basically the airport side. Personally, I would always say junction 18 M5 over A4 but haven’t done it for a while.
Edit Edit: Sorry, think I mean 19 though google maps is saying slower than A4 but really not sure that’s the case.
Sorry I need to be at Brockley on the A370 by 07:30 coming from the frozen north on the m5 .
I would suggest traffic will be horrendous if you go in from J18 or J19.

This is a difficult one I’d say, certainly easier coming up from Weston but traffic that way busy from 07.00 which is the same as going through Bristol, I’d say go either way but aim to get there by 07.00, is it the timber place you’re going to ?
It’s st Nicholas way I think ,been many times in the pick up through the weight limits and on multi drops but never straight from home in lorry , I think I’ll go early and go A4 to save on Milage .

Definitely want to be going through Bristol along the A4 before 07.00.
M5 jn 21 turn left. Watch for the 2 X 30 mph zones that’s your quickest way in
I would be tempted with M32 and through the centre if before 7
The whole of Bristol is farped with Roadworks, Long Ashton Bypass, M32 . A4 Portway is painfully slow
Welcome to hell
But i do like it here

And the ring road A4174 is furked till next year, trying to fix the road capacity and flow for the Lyde Green development. Instead of doing the clever thing, and finally putting the Eastern access junction on the M4
