I don’t think this has been posted before but the A4174 2+ lane can now be used by HGVs in both directions.
A sensible move I’d say, all bus lanes should be open to trucks.
Is that the road that runs near Frenchay Hospital? Hope so, we deliver flour near there. It’s about time all bus lanes allowed hgvs to use them.
Never mind that, look at all those car-driving ■■■■■■■ too ■■■■ lazy to put their handbrake on.

Ive been saying this for years! From an economy point and environmental point its a no brainer, shame the daft ■■■■■ in the various councils up and down the land don’t agree

Maybe, I hadn’t noticed it before, and the signposting looked quite new and pristine, it’s not very well signed which might explain why other lorry drivers aren’t taking advantage of it.

You’re correct but it was a small sign about a mile before the zone.
I suppose it would be cheaper to get a taxi but who long will it take before some show-off uses something like this (coming in at around 4t):- en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_Super_Duty to argue that it was an HGV?

It’s all quite normal behaviour for Bristol. No one can drive properly there.
I have never encountered so many terrible drivers in one place in my entire life. The Arc de Triomphe is NOTHING compared to Fowlers roundabout near Temple Meads!
