Bright and shiny wheels

i had a set of six 385’s on me sdc trailer over two & half years ago, they get washed whenever my driver can, prob once a month, they spend there time getting ■■■■ up on building sites etc,but seem to still be nice and bright when washed over…now my clean n shiny standards are far less than alot of your guys   so i’d say maybe a bad batch… :open_mouth: :open_mouth:

I have one remaining durabrite on my 03 truck and it is the worst of all of them. The finish is crazed and cracked. I wouldn’t bother with them if I were buying.

In fairness, Mark, ours are all on drums and that will make a difference. I know the brake dust used to beat the snot out of the polish on the Premium rims, and I had to use the brillo pads way too often to keep them decent, which meant way more work than was justifiable.

I thought the wheels in question were guarateed for life■■?

I had a set of said wheels on the front of the Actros (plain polished wheels everywhere else) and the outer rim had to be polished every now and again to keep on top of tar and what not.

Nice to see this story made Riks slot in commercial motor. Thanks.
