Love the look on the drivers face in the 2nd pic

4 M truck v 3.5 M bridge aint gonna turn out well is it ?

Driver said that he hadn’t seen any signs indicating the height of the bridge on the run up before getting to the bridge, “by then I didn’t have time to brake” :open_mouth: :open_mouth:

He must’ve been goin some to do that damage

Oh and as a p.s. unlike the UK, SNCF didn’t shut down the line , I think in the first pic you can actually see a train on the bridge.

And for a 2nd p.s. Here you go SIMON (the mod), something to practice your French on

Mis-spelling.
Because WiFi is not yet available in the EU, it’s a campaign to get free noise reduction on cassette players.

Thanks for that…

I was aware of the Free Derry artwork but the link provides a good context. All that leaves is the question ‘why Dalby?’ which is a small forest area in Lincolnshire and also in Yorkshire.

looks like a fridge…maybe the driver was allowing air to circulate in case of stowaways…

And what the hell has Derry got to do with a bridge in Nantes, France ?
:unamused: :unamused:

you can see the sign saying 3.5 but you can see that the driver has looked at the metal frame on top of the concrete and not registered the concrete section below…a mistake he may not make again?

The driver in question had caused an accident further back along the motorway an had refused to stop. He was being chased by the police. I presume he wanted to smash through the barrier but badly judged it, the wagon actually caught fire under the peage canopy

Belgian wagon loaded with furniture,
If you can get the video taken by Koneus, as the truck in question passes., before smashing into the toll booth take a look at the cab, definitely looks like its been modified
