i tried googling." what speed are stobart trucks limited to “” but i couldnt find out anything…best wait till next week till dozy pops up with the latest imaginary whine and ask him…
no doubt it shouldnt be more than the speed limit for the type of road its on i.e 40 or 56 but i would imagine itl be higher than that .

I reckon that low loader on the M20 last year could be a contender [emoji106]

Earth mover on a flatbed took out a bridge on the a180 a few years back. He’ll have been doing 50+

They demolished only half the bridge leaving the westbound side standing. Took them five years to remove the remaining side.

Well I had a bridge strike yesterday doing about 45mph, trailer demolished and unit a right off

I saw the result of a bridge strike on the A1 near Welwyn Garden city back in the 70s . A mobile crane in lane 2 had a smashed screen and the driver was on the floor 40ft from the crane .
The crane got a bounce on and dislodged the boom that hit the bridge and stopped it dead from an estimated 60mph . No seatbelts or limiters back then , the driver did not survive.
