For info chaps…

Very nice - I reckon there’s still drivers that’d ignore it though :unamused:

Haha the water curtains are good

Impressive, unless you’re in a convertable with the top down a few yards in front of the over-height vehicle.

it just goes to show that even truck drivers in australia are brain dead not just in the uk.

This should be put into use on British roads ASAP cos when your knackered you tend to miss things …until you wack em

will this affect my water rates :open_mouth:

stobarttrucker, if it affects your water rates, move to central africa, Oxfam can supply an entire village for 2 pounds a month.

Sapper

Absolutely amazing idea.

Brilliant idea. Bit of a pain though when only your radio/cb antenna activates it

Blimey that’s good! Smart, safe and yet spooky. Hard to miss.

I really like it. Genius idea and very very effective.

I think you get an instant fine if you block traffic in the Blackwall Tunnel now. Breakdown or overheight - they don’t care.

Does anyone remember the old curtain of water that used to exist in that tunnel as well?

I think it was the thames leaking through the ceiling mind… :stuck_out_tongue:

You get fined if you breakdown in the tunnel… You got a link for that?

I can’t believe that a breakdown in the Blackwall Tunnel results in an instant fine but it is interesting to see that around a third of break-downs in the Blackwall Tunnel are due to shortage of fuel. Perhaps some of those should be fined!

A few statistics here: tfl.gov.uk/corporate/media/n … 18143.aspx

I have certainly been held up in the queue a few times.
