Unlikely. It appears to be a Maritime container lorry. They are not known for shoddy driving, nor for choosing places other than a layby for a lay down.

There’s a container depot literally 100 mtrs past that bridge that he was probably heading for…another ten seconds of patience and he would have made it

Looking on the bright side, one would get to check the underside of the tyres for tread wear .
