Hope is is alright and well?

Probably busy scouring Google for the next thing to blame on Brexit.

whisperingsmith:
As a point of interest who has the support of our TN Brexshiteers as the next PM.

IIRC one of the reasons for voting for Brexit was stopping people of Brown or Black hue from coming to the UK.

Most of the Tory candidates for the PM Job are first or second-generation Brown or Black immigrants - how does that fit the TN Brexshiteer’s hope for the continuation of a Tory Britain ■■

Personally, I don’t care whether our PM is Black, Brown, Green, or Purple - what I do care about is they are not Tory

What about this guy,.I like his dress sense.
gazette-news.co.uk/news/nat … ourt-told/

People wondering why those of us who voted remain are still talking about Brexit?

Brexit is far from finished, Tories are still scrapping over how to deliver it properly. Maybe when it’s been done we will shut up, but I know it never will be done.

You have nailed it there Darkside - imagine if we had Brexit right now and customs checks on imports ■■

If you listen to the Tory PM wannabees they say they want to complete Brexit - so stock up on basics before they get going.

■■■■■■■■?? you ain’t seen nothing yet if they get their own way and get Full ■■■■■■■■.

EDIT: watching the Channel 4 debate with the PM hopefuls, and most of them are saying: “I Will Deliver Brexit” so if we trust what they say ■■■■■■■■ hasn’t been delivered yet. :unamused: :unamused: :unamused:

I just checked in to see if this “debate” is still ongoing. Brexit has been, and is a disaster. We told you it would be. You were warned. But you listened to obvious idiots like Farage. You listened to Michael Gove. (“We’ve had enough of experts”). You listened to Rees-Mogg. You believed that Boris Johnson actually wanted Brexit. You ignored and overlooked the corruption. You continue to buy and read the Express and the Mail and the Sun. You search for the “benefits” of Brexit, and find none. You are now choosing as MY prime Minister one of a Tufton St liar, an air-head who can’t find a door, and a right-wing robot who has pledged allegiance to a foreign country and who is married to one of the wealthiest people in the world. Whichever of these becomes MY prime Minister, who is going to hold the great offices of state? Chancellor of the Exchequer? Home Secretary? Foreign Secretary? What deals have been done behind the scenes? Do these people represent you? Is this democracy?

Speak for yourself but Brexit hasn’t been a disaster for me. Other than my bank account each month being much greater than it was before I haven’t noticed anything in my day to day life that has changed that can be put down to the B word.

The definition of traitor. “I’m all right, Jack, pull up the ladder” Or Judas, betraying for thirty pieces of silver. Yes, driver’s wages have gone up a bit. Meanwhile, our country drives headlong into the ditch. Which was clearly signposted.

Yep, I’m definitely a traitor and a judas for wanting to earn as much as possible for the benefit of my family including my 2 young kids. Or have I got that wrong and I should be more concerned with how it affects Pierre in France, Ralph in Germany or Antonio in Italy?

I’m all right jack is a good description of how the EUSSR has been alright for Germany at our expense. The EU federalists protest laughably too much.
We’ve been in the same ditch, of paying for the privilege, of importing German stuff and making Germany rich, since 1973.Followed by having to pay for all the basket case East Euro bloc.
Trusting the same party of muppets, that took us into the collective scam, to take us out of it, is the problem that’s why we’re still in that same ditch that saw us being self sufficient in energy, reduced to a banana republic needing an IMF bailout.

Also not concerned with the OAP in Manchester, the teacher in Leeds, the cleaner in Norwich etc. Not concerned that the rights and freedoms of your compatriots have been stolen from them, their hopes and dreams and ambitions. Not concerned that the life savings of millions have been slashed in value. Not concerned that the economy is in the tank. “I’m all right, Jack, I got a 50p per hour pay-rise”

The only freedoms lost are the freedoms that the EUSSR politburo have taken away.
Our freedoms were fine in 1972.
You’re obviously happy enough with the OAP in Manchester having their state pension slashed to make German pensioners richer and paying 20% VAT on what they try to afford to buy, to contribute to our EU net contribution.
The economy is in the same EU parasitic tank now as it was when we went begging to the IMF to maintain our contribution to the scam.
Bearing in mind that the party which took us into it predictably had/have no intention of taking us out of it.The result being fake BREXIT and the resulting economic status quo.The only difference v 1973 being that now we are also lumbered with the East Euro states to support.

Yeah because Brexit has really done that to all the waffle you have just written there!

P.S my pay went up considerably more than 50p an hour as well as over £3000 in bonuses thanks to Brexit so my kids and partner are eternally grateful and they will always come first over anything else as far as my priority goes.

When you say your bank account is much more , is that taking into the substantial rise in price of everything ( I’m not saying it’s brexit related ) , but gas/ elec was £66 pm , now £147 pm , petrol/ diesel nearly doubled in price , food , bloke next door cost his extension at £14,000 ( he’s a builder ) , nigh on doubled in cost though rise in price of materials
I don’t disagree we had decent pay rises , but the rise in costs of everything has more than eaten that away , will you be getting £3000 in bonuses this year .
I’ve had 5% ( £1 ph ) pay rise , but even 10 % ( £2 ph ) wouldn’t get near covering the rise in costs of everything , that’s why every man & his dog is on about going on strike
I voted remain , brexit doesn’t bother me now , but the pay rises we had though nice are more than being eaten up at the moment , the butter we buy was £2.50 , now £4.50 , cat food was £3 per pack , now £4.25 , lamb chops were £5 , now £6.25
As I say pay rises were nice but mine arnt covering the rises in prices of stuff , not by a country mile
I can live with it , 61 , everything paid for , but it must be really hurting young families with mortgage / kids , I feel sorry for them

I used to get along OK with my neighbour, there was a gap in the garden fence, our kids used to come and go, and play with each other. I decided that we needed a gate, to stop that sort of thing, and to take back control. Now my neighbour refuses to open the gate when my kids want to play in his garden.

Wow!
We’ve got our very own Trucknet JC sharing his parables. :open_mouth:
Have you got a one about a group of whingers who go on and on (and on :unamused: ) about something they don’t like and can’t accept?
Keep us posted.
Praise be.
