Brexit stuff in one place [MERGED]

If that’s as bad as it gets

Its like being served tea made with Boris’ urine (brexit)

And then nigel farage spits in it (union Jack on number plates)

Fantastic!

Brexit means Brexit guys

Bit of a ott gross exaggeration, but you lot do need to vent your anger and frustration (STILL.after 5 ■■■■ years :open_mouth: :unamused: )…but hey, crack on if it works for you.

It really is funny watching the crying isnt it. I dont think its actually leaving the EU they are concerned about but the actual fact they didnt like losing on the vote. Similar to watching a 3 year old kid being told that he cannot shove mums knitting needle into a wall socket and then throwing a massive tantrum!

You’re the epitome of those 30s Black and white films where the female lead gets hysterical and gets slapped to calm her down.

Incidentally I went to work for 25 years with the Union Jack on my arm [emoji6]

This deserves respect. (Unless its a tattoo and you work in Lidl) But this isn’t about being anti emergency services.

It’s about being anti ‘using patriotism for profit’

Imagine:

“Incidentally I went to work for 25 years with the Union Jack on my car”

You think it’s the same?

:unamused:

Nothing wrong with having a Union Flag on a number plate IMHO.
I think Id quite fancy having a Lion there actually. One of the UKs arms supporters of course.

I expect that Brexiteers would prefer a Unicorn?

Franglais:

No your right

I have a Japanese flag on my '94 Lancer number plate.

And beware of false logic here:
“I am patriotic. I believe in Brexit.”
"You dont believe in Brexit, therefore you are not patriotic." A few seconds though will reveal this is a common argument used to stifle debate in totalitarian states. (That doesnt say all who use it are dictators)
“Agree with me, or you`re a traitor!”. ■■■■■■■■ in any fee society.

The tub thumpers shout out that nonsense, but it certainly isn`t so.

BTW I am quite happy being British.
I cant quite bring myself to use the word "pride", because it isnt my own achievement.
It isnt necessary for me to assert my pleasure at being British by denigrating others. Being British is its own reward.

No need to insult others to boost my own fragile ego.
I know many 3 year olds who grasp the truth of this, and some lorry drivers who don`t.

The irony of mentioning the behaviour of 3 year olds by somebody who can not accept and deal with democratic decision made 5 years ago that did not go his way…class.

Boot on the other foot and the result was we stayed, people who wanted to leave spend the next 5 years or so crying and ■■■■■■■■ about a democratic vote on a forum, I’m intrigued to know what Franglais and the other whiners opinions would have been about threads still going nearly 6 years later had the vote been to stay.

Maintaining the Status Quo at that time (Morning Francis  ) would have made no difference to me personally broadly speaking.
Granted I would not have been happy (for all of 24 hours after the vote) but it would have been a case of I’ve put up with all of the crap since the 70s, so what’s the big deal,?
Also in the words of Mick Jagger…‘‘You can’t always get what ya want’’ .
So ‘‘Ca ne fait rien’’ Rodney. would be my stance, and not pointlessly bleating about it on a totally unrelated forum for 5 years after. :unamused:

Exactly, I voted to leave but had remain won then on the 24th June 2016 I would have just got on with life as normal which would have been exactly the same as the 22nd June 2016.

Forums are places where people have discussions.
Discussions involve different points of view.
Those who don`t want to listen to different points of view are free to ignore said forum if they want.

Most people realise that.
Apparently it is beyond some others.

So long as TNUK allow me I will continue to post Brexit stuff, on the Brexit thread. (And I thank them for it)

Others can do as they wish.
I dont mind having my point of view challenged, and that is why I am here. If others dont want their point of view questioned that is perfectly fine, but if so…why are they here?
And here repeatedly at that?

Well, 300 odd posts later you are still telling us all how you don`t care about Brexit.

Let’s all have a fight

The initial para isn’t the logic used.
More contempt for the term flag shagger inferring patriotism is somehow dirty.

Dear Lord… your whole last para is a mass of contradiction.

I’m proud of my boy…but its his work

You mean: post anti Brexit stuff.
It isn’t debate you want, it’s vindication.

Schadenfreude is the term

That’s all fine and well if you were posting links from both sides of the argument to form a balanced argument, you however just seek out what you perceive to be negatives of Brexit - as Monkey highlights above!
