Brexit stuff in one place [MERGED]

Or even someone passing his advice on, well, anything really? “I’m the only one who’s correct, every opinion contrary to mine is wrong”.

That type of person?

And the joy of forums is that anyone with any facts can present them. They can present evidence either for or against any point of view.

No need for sly innuendo here.

Do we have any of those on here?

Facts or your opinion - there’s a big difference!

So you’ve posted some links for inflation figures. What caused those inflation rises in those places is subjective - that’s my point.

Go on then: make your point please.

See post above.

And?

I was making a point that the above vid was showing a cherry picked view of a limited number of stats from a few chosen parameters.
Nothing you are saying, in any way refutes my point. So not much point in quoting my post, is there?

Carry on, as you like.
Expand upon any point you care to make, be it about the cause of inflation or anything else. I, and/or others, will comment or not as we choose.

And you just posted several links to various inflation figures, the cause of which is subjective so no difference as you did that to further “your opinion”

I seem to remember you trying to dress up our membership position of being a net contributor for the privilege of being a net importer as meaning a good economic deal for us.When an IMF bailout and numerous recessions while Germany laughs and parties proves otherwise…
Also obviously by definition ruled by an unelected politburo and illegitimate collective masquerading as as a recognised state.Which ignores recognised national borders and the supremacy of their national governments.

Yes.
Correct.
I linked several different sources to back up what I was saying.

You seem to be making a claim: that the causes of inflation are “subjective” and that they are different for different countries.
Is that in any way contrary to the figures I have cited? I think not. so, irrelevant to my post.
Have you given any links, or sources, at all to back that up? No.

Franglais:

No, I’ve got more important things to be getting on with in life than endlessly scouring the Internet for links to back up a “subjective” issue (whichever way your point of view is)

I’m simply highlighting how sad I think it is that your life mission seems to be trying to prove a point
to something you cannot change or influence.

tmcassett:
how sad I think it is

I`m sure someone, somewhere, is interested in your feelings.

I suggest you and RobRoy start a thread somewhere to discuss the “life mission”, or mental health of posters here, since you both seem to want to express your opinions on such.
Maybe you could actually find some facts, and even links to support the opinions you give? Just like you do when talking about 22 blokes kicking a ball around a field.

Meanwhile, some of us are interested in discussing Brexit.
Y`know? Like the title of this thread.

Got to agree with that.
I suppose me/we who take a contrary stance to all this crap are as bad, or nearly as bad, for responding which just perpetuates the thread, but somebody has to point out the futility of incessantly complaining about something you/we have no control over.
Have you ever thought of a hobby Frangers that does not include pandemics, Done and dusted political decisions, or hatred of certain politicians? ,
What about ■■■■ for instance?
Maybe the reaction to watching it will have the same effects .

Note…No use of the noun petulant this time…I’m getting better eh?
Oh yeh,.and our first game this season is Notts Forest.
Here’s a link for ya.

Comment about “Brexit”…zero…again.

With your qualifications in English I did imagine that you would be capable of reading a thread title? Maybe even understanding what it was about?
No? Let me explain:
This the “Brexit” thread where people talk about…wait for it…Brexit!

If you want to set yourself as some sort of forum police to stop the “perpetuation” of the thread write to the Mods. Complain. Apply to join them.
If you arent interested....dont read it! Is that such a hard idea to grasp?

Im not much interested in footie and actually avoid reading about it. I dont find it necessary to make numerous posts about my feelings on the footie threads.
Go on. Start a thread with tmcassett about your feelings , and about what you think of the characters and interests of people you have never met. I will reserve the right to avoid that thread too.

Meanwhile, you could go back to your footie threads?
Im sure the relevant managers are desperate for the input and advice you give to them. Im sure your posts have a massive impact about their training regimes.
Equally the “done and dusted” scores from a few decades ago are going to be fresh and worthy of discussion…
to anyone with the attention span of a goldfish.
Enjoy yourself*.

*This post is made in the interests of helping Mr R-R`s obvious delicate mental state, and his troubled attitude to forums.
I have as much expertise in this field as he does, after all!
NONE.

Wow!! :open_mouth:
Seems like my work is done here…I’ve obviously got a little bit under your skin.

Calm down dear, it’s only a forum.
You should learn to understand my mischievous nature and my sense of humour Frangers seriously, mate…take a ■■■■ chill pill. :unamused:

I do feel the need to pull you up on something here Robroy, it’s Nottingham Forest and Notts County, us people here in Nottingham don’t like the 2 getting mixed up.

P.S I think you’ll spank us, like most will this season.

Discussing or just trying to prove you were right?

Our currently rudderless administration changed it`s mind* a while ago.
Moorhouse (Different Bias) has just reminded us of this. Article in “The Loadstar”
theloadstar.com/uk-government-s … ity-chaos/
After telling ports they had to invest in extra facilities, because of Brexit, they now seem to be saying those facilities are…un-necessary. £450,000,000 wasted.

This of course is the same Gov that refused to help with the £30m needed to get more passport booths in Dover, needed because of Brexit.
About right, innit? Wasting someone else`s money (be in no doubt, these costs will trickle down to us, the consumers) but refusing to spend money to prevent the long forecast delays caused by predicted passport delays.

So, what next? Will the next “glorious leader” to be chosen by “party members” be much different? Will there be a coherent Brexit plan emerging?
The “oven ready deal” has already been slagged off by those who negotiated it, praised it, and signed it, and are refusing to implement… What next?

*I accept the implication is that the Gov has a mind…apologies to those who don`t agree with that. You do have a valid point!

Sorry about that mate.
I m kinda pleased they are back in the top flight, same as I was when Leeds got promoted
I remember Nottingham Forest in the Clough days.,
I may feel different if you beat us btw.
Getting Lingard was a scoop btw, hoped he’d come to us.
Good players in their day, (got to keep on thread so as not to upset Frangers) including the great ex Newcastle player AND PROMINENT BREXITEER  Stuart ■■■■■■ Pearce…
