BBC R4 Today Programme, about 06hr30 this morning.
A guest was commenting that the new export documents needed for goods going to the EU after Jan 2021 will cost about £32. And that 400 million a year will be required.
That’s about an extra 250million quid a week, just for export paperwork, without looking at import costs, and transport checks and delays.
Stop mentioning BBC 4 in here, mate, too many experts in there, so needs to be defunded.

You should remember we do have some experts in charge now.
Johnson got his degree in old Greek fairy tales, and Gove has a degree in English story-telling, so no lack of expertise there!
All this money that has been wasted on Brexit over the last four years is bad. Basically it’s costing more to be able to do less, and to live in a country with far fewer opportunities than those voting Brexit were promised.

All this money that has been wasted on Brexit over the last four years is bad. Basically it’s costing more to be able to do less, and to live in a country with far fewer opportunities than those voting Brexit were promised.
At present, and until the end of this year - we’ve been burning the candle at both ends for four long years.
Paying the EU their dues, and trying to wrench our economy away from EU dependence at the same time.
The worst of both possible worlds, this “transition period”, which many (myself included) feel has been unnecessarily protracted to aid both the EU financially, and of course give us Brits as much time to “change our minds” as the establishment feels is needed…
No dice though. We’ve already paid the heavy price in “resistance” for Brexit, and we’re now paying an even heavier price over Covid lockdown that COULD have been avoided outright had we pulled up the drawbridge in any of the first three years of Brexit, as per the mandate!
The Brexit Dividend, the £350m per week, or however much it really turns out to be - cannot be released for the UK’s benefit until we’ve stopped handing it over to the EU for the priviledge of being able to buy their stuff instead of our own, or cheaper from further afield still.
As for “Opportunities” - If we suddenly had that hallowed 2nd referedum right now, and let’s say Remain won 52/48 THIS time around, but the EU said “You can implement it right this minute, rather than have us drag our feet for the next four years”…
What do we actually GET that makes our lives better as fast as the EU quickly thanked us for the pledge of money all over again?
We get to work in other EU countries if we want. Shame there’s no normal jobs for normal Brits like we seem to have here for the countless EU citizens that have come the other way, and even more Non-EU citizens - casually fanned through to live off the UK taxpayer teat as well…
We get to see our taxes raised to pay for the next EU budget, that’ll give more money to Liberal Left causes, with Right spending being to “stop the Right gaining any real power anywhere”.
Well, that failed in Poland today, where Conservative incumbent gets to stay in power - but he’s a Remainer himself, so no love lost there among the proper conservative leaders around Europe, like Viktor Orban for instance…
If the EU had offered UK citizens something that benefits everyone rather than just a few happening to be in the right place, know the right people, etc. then we wouldn’t have voted to Leave in the first place.
“Too little was done to placate the masses” when it could and should have been done. Now it’s too late
We’ve voted for our bed, and by God - we’re gonna ALL lie in it, for better or worse.
Who wants to re-join an EU that is already in bed with Iran and China in any case?
Who wants “Liberal Socialism” where Union Leaders, MPs, and other establishment figures - load it up rich on the backs of the very workers who put them in that position to operate on THEIR behalf?
Who wants “Communist Socialism” where inefficiencies will eventually put everyone out of work there?
Who wants “Marxism” where anyone a cut above the rest in any kind of talent whatsoever - gets pulled back down, and is pushed to “dumb down or else”…? Where Doctors and Engineers get paid the same as Union Repts and Supervisors? Where “everyone has a job” but no one actually works productively any more, where “Everyone has a place to live” - in a newbuild Tower Block…
Surely we’re done with any form of Socialism, simply because like Nazism - it should have been left behind in the 20th century “Didn’t work” box, and we all move onto the 21st century with some new ideas outright, not based on “Left and Right” or “Rich and Poor”, but proper kept-promises principals of “The deal you make, is the deal you keep”.
We’re not going to have a cull of population like two world wars did, and the flu pandemic in between.
This Covid thing - isn’t even a Pandemic in that the one a century ago killed over 50million out of a world population a third what it is today.
The 2020 Covid - has killed (we’re told) half a million (1% of the 1919 pandemic) from a population triple… Overall then? Covid is 0.33% of what the great flu pandemic of 1919 was over the same timeframe.
BECAUSE “Not enough died” - that’s even more mouths to feed in the years to come at a time when the world is less and less capable of handling the growing number of malcontents living within the world borders- that is, “on planet Earth”. Where do we REALLY go to in order to “Get Away”?
“Freedom of Movement” - doesn’t permit me to go to anywhere that’ll pay me the same or more for doing the job I do now.
Only “Third Worlders” can be “Economic Migrants”, then I suggest.
Even Eastern Europeans are wondering “Is it worth me staying in this country any more?” these days… Talk to them. Ask them!
They are not the economic migrants. NO one who works and pays taxes is here “For the freebies” - they are here for the *promotion" in what they see as a “Land of Opportunity” - just as the Wokeness brigade threatens to make you all feel suicidal because you happen to have been born with white skin. GO figure!
Oh I wish we could motivate our Eastern European colleagues to go out and vote against the Socialists, just as the illegal immigrant benefit scrounger gets to automatically vote Labour…
We are being dragged down into vomit.
Another wealthy Brexit supporter abandons Brexit Britain for … yes, you guessed it… the EU
This whole Covid thing is now starting to look like an excuse to “accidentally faceplant” and let known Brexit Canceller Keir Starmer into power.
Notice how little criticism he’s had of late, despite having no fresh alternative ideas about how to move forward with dealing with Covid…
It is assumed that he will simply inherit number ten, the moment Boris faces a vote of No Confidence, so that the ERG can end up being blamed for putting Labour back into power again.
Any general election held THIS year - is unlikely to find someone like Farage’s Brexit Party ready for what would be an extreme surprise election this time around.
Thus, the Tories lose about 50 seats, Brexit Party stay on zero, Labour gain the 50, and end up going into coalition with the SNP so Keir Starmer can actually blame Sturgeon for “taking us back into the EU again”.
All blame nicely “deflected” as only professional politicians know how…
All Keir Starmer has to do to facillitate such a plan is “avoid negative publicity”. He quickly re-thought his “taking of the knee” a few weeks ago. Now he’s concentrating on making at least the pretence of purging momentum from the party, when in fact all he’s doing is “told them to keep THEIR heads down as well.”
How would you act if you were a Labour MP right now, and the strategy is to try and trick the ERG into calling a vote of no confidence in their own PM anytime in the next six months?
Even Priti Patel is underperforming in that she won’t be closing our borders to illegal immigrants until after the implementation period has ended.
Why not?
FFS On day one of the covid lockdown - we COULD have used that as an excuse to pull up the drawbridge, and ban all foreign holiday travel.
Instead, we imported over 18million likely covid carriers since March, we’re still bringing captured people trafficing vessels TO Britain, rather than dumping them back on French shores, or just leaving them bobbing about in the channel for the French to pick up. I guess there’s not going to be any “withdrawal from EU judiciary” as well then, or we’d be making our own draconian laws to deal with it already. That’s what we thought we’d be getting electing a so-called Right Wing Conservative government FFS…
Talking of “Draconian” - we’ll be fined £100 if we don’t wear a mask whilst shopping as of 24th July now.
Great.
It becomes compulsory to believe the lies, sign up to the conspiracy, and culture your own germs into a weaponized form of mutated Covid in time for this autumn flare-up we’re already being price-conditioned to expect by the end of this year.
Across the country, the plans to have Britain eating it’s own food, and weaning ourselves off EU imports - have just faceplanted with the first (no doubt of many) UK farms to now be sanctioned for what last week was “running a sweatshop” in Leicester (not that such practices stopped people like Mike Ashley beforehand)…
and now Hereford.
Note the narrative here is "This is what happens if you disobey mandetory mask wearing, track & trace, and other means the Chinese Government have ordered us to blight your lives with from now on. We owe them nearly our entire national debt, and must comply with their instructions. Such complicity with a foreign enemy government against the British Public as well as National interest - is of course an actual conspiracy if taking place, rather than “just a theory”. They’ve even used stock pictures flipped to avoid copyright claims in the article. FFS you can’t make this crap up!
People might think to avoid shopping at supermarkets perhaps, scared that they might be buying “contaiminated British farm sourced food”.
There’s even a deflection story from the (as expected) BBC, suggesting that only those conspiracy theories mentioned - are the “sinister” ones, when in fact no one seems in a hurry to criticize China over Covid AT ALL, despite mounting evidence that weather by accident or design, Chinese action or inaction is to blame for the world infection of this man-made strain.
Great own goal, government!
Makes no sense unless Boris Johnson really IS the EU’s last line of defence, a veritable Benedict Arnold character of our attempted Revolution…
ALL our political establishment - seem to have been bought and paid for, to act against the UK, English, Scottish, Welsh, and Irish national interests. Together, and apart Left and Right, Rich or Poor - we’re ALL being lied to here, by the looks of it!
If Covid as we’ve been told of it - were real, then the FIRST thing we would have done - is lockdown the BORDERS and quarentine the COUNTRY. Instead, we’ve got areas here and there “being made examples of” should you decide that “I’m not going to be a bloody sheep here”.
Covid isn’t a pandemic, what with 0.3% of the real pandemic of 1919’s death rate to date…
Covid is just a label one puts on a death certificate as an alternative to the “truth”, which might be “Pneumonia” or “Bronchitus” or “Organ Failure” or a variety of other, mostly respiartory disorders that, no surprise - have actually dropped due to the sheer number of “death statistics” being borrowed from what used to be “various natural causes” on those death certificates just a few short months ago.
It’s not a “Conspiracy” in that. We’re just being lied to over what we’ve yet to exactly find out on what’s clearly a “need-to-know” basis…
Remember that letter a senior Brexiteer sent Michel Barnier not long ago?
So, the senior Brexiteer got a reply , have a listen
The only real “harsh reality” is that people will be done down by things deliberately done to us by our enemies.
The murkiness of politics - is the thing that makes us not really know who our “enemies” might actually be, at any point…
Personal level, Employer’s Level, Government’s Level, Country’s Level, and of course Humanity’s Level. …But not “serf of superstate” level, living a subsistance lifestyle to fund faraway people not even EU citizens that you’ll never meet, let alone care for!
“Being an exiting European Citizen” - doesn’t factor into any of the above there, then… It has become totally irrelevant.
The only people who actually want to stay in the EU even THIS late in the day - are those diehards who are either scared of the risks of leaving (pretty much ALL in by this point…) combined with the financial rewards to that individual of staying in.
I’m sure if the referendum had been held under a Labour rather than Conservative government - the result would have been way different from the 52/48 we got in actual fact.
…The paradox is that Labour wouldn’t have taken the risk, of course… We would have far more likely voted “Remain” had we not just had 5 prior years of Tory Austerity to sharpen our wits…
Had Gordon Brown continued as PM from 2010 to 2015, with Brown stating “We’ll hold a referendum if we stay in power” in the 2015 election run-up, - Cameron wouldn’t have even been PM at any stage to then have to resign when he lost said referendum… Ed Milliband - could have hijacked Cameron’s grandstanding in actuality, by promising in the upcoming election (set for no later than May 2015 and planned around February 2015…) that he, too would hold that referendum, and it “wasn’t going to be taken off the table” should Labour win a victory…
Sometimes it is worth stepping back a bit, and trying to see things from a further-out point of view, such as the way the Taiwans saw us going into that election…
Then the referendum that followed… (interesting that Boris was predicted to take over, and the Trump already had a future when these vids were pusblished )
Out-of-touch politicians who don’t know what media to listen to, and what to ignore as “white noise” there.
The Taiwan Animators also seem to “get it” with the American election, November 2016 as well, of course…
Our history happens to be a big chain of “what-ifs” where we’ve changed course far more often in recent years than we really realize.
Our next task as individuals - will be to get our lives back.
This doesn’t seem to have much in common for what even our own government seem to have in store for us though - does it?
Full Brexit leaked letter published
The full letter sent by cabinet minister, Liz Truss, to Michael Gove and Rishi Sunak about brexit concerns has been published in full. In this video, he discusses how the language used and reaction to it in government reveal the very real danger that brexit poses to ministerial careers, as well as the rest of us.I
THAT didn’t work. I guess Liz must have un-said it…

Brexit paperwork to cost businesses billions more than EU membership
Michael Gove yesterday announced the beginnings of the government plans to build a dozen new customs sites and the billions of pounds worth of extra business expenses for British companies who wish to keep trading. This is despite the government denying this action just weeks ago, and representing broken promises from the 2016 referendum campaign

That’s just it - there wasn’t anything TO see…
Clicked on a dead link to a video, thinking that “It’ll be on there, so it must have happened”…
The European though? - Can make any story up that it likes, almost comic strip politics, really…
See how easy it is to entirely reverse a historical character’s allignment and agenda with a few comic strip pictures…

All FOUR main parties - broke promises with regards to Brexit.
The Tories said "Don’t vote Farage, we’ll promise to implement it instead which four years on - they have yet to do in actuality, only in name.
Labour - we didn’t know from one day to the next, if Corbyn wanted Brexit but didn’t want to help the Tories achieve it OR Party Members wanted Remain, but Corbyn didn’t want to go into an election promising that.
The Libdems - promised to abide by democratic decisions, even incorporated into their party name. So much for THAT.
And finally, the SNP promised to take Scotland out of the UK, and keep Scotland in the EU.
BOTH promises broken there, and yet still they have seats at Westminster, the very hypocrisy NOT exhibited by Farage when BP MEPs dusted off their feet at Brussels, and didn’t look back when their own-inflicted axe fell upon UK MEPs there…

How much money did Blair rake off from the closing down of our former customs & excercise at ports I wonder?
Surely re-establishing border controls - merely puts us back to Pre-1997 status, except that we haven’t solved the out-of-control immigration sitaution (also done by Blair) as of yet.
Odd thing - neither removing our borders nor allowing unfettered immigration - was on Labour’s 1997 election manifesto…
A bit like The current botched Conservative handling of Covid to date…
Yep, I would have stuck with Brexit Party had they not been on the ballot paper AND Boris told we voters that “Brexit done” was his only agenda, no “hidden agenda” BS to come.
The Wuhan stories were already coming out by the time of the 12th December, don’t forget…
Then there’s the question of the EU imports and exports:
UK firms exporting - can go further afield, and thus avoid all possibility of tariffs or french strikes or bandit attacks…
UK firms importing - can also go further afield, unless and until the EU drop their food prices sooo much that it becomes cheaper to import from the mainland continent, even allowing for a collapsed pound and stacked-up tariffs…
Chances are, we’ll end up somewhere in between: Supermarkets will buy oranges from Florida and the Middle East for instance, because Spain and the EU price theirs out of our market.
Supermarkets - will go where it is cheapest to buy for their produce, and TRY and flog it off at higher prices, but fail miserably, as by that point - people will be sick to death of queuing for hours and wearing a pair of old knickers just to pay supermarket-already-announced “higher prices to come”…
There’s an opportunity here for smaller outlets to clean up - simply by making their own import arrangements food wise, or going without as much imports as possible, eg. for Vegetables and UK-growable fruits…
Attempts to rubbish UK food production with “scare stories” will ultimately fail, as we’re getting poor so quickly now, that if it comes down to the choice of “Run up a debt to buy EU food, Buy cheap, but possibly contaminated food” or “don’t eat, 'cos you can’t afford it any more” - then I reckon the vast majority of the Great British Public will end up going for the second option there.
Russian Report being released next Wednesday apparently…
