Tackling Early Brexit Lies as Reality
Now that brexit has become reality, those who pushed for it will want to keep as many people as possible blind to the impacts. They have already begun with some supposed brexit benefits that are, of course, fairly obvious lies. I begin by debunking the first six brexit lies pushed by Boris Johnson and his Conservative MPs

Have worked for Shell providing IT services for the offshore platforms on the North Sea and the gas intake stations in both Den Helder and Great Yarmouth. One thing that our English colleagues said from Great Yarmouth is that we on the Dutch side were always studying and working on many sites and projects while they worked at the same spot for over 20 years. We always did the complex projects and troubleshooted the complex problems. (To be clear, this was their choice!)
Obviously I am not saying that this is true for all UK employees, but it was a fact that the Dutch platforms were much more efficient and safe. Most accidents happened on the UK side and also our IT environment, helicopter training and facilities were much more modern than the UK buildings and installations.
Same seems to be the case with the fishing and steel industrie and many other services and facilities. Not saying that the UK is obviously a third world country, and having visited the UK from London to John 'O Groat (Dutch guy who had the ferry rights to the Orkney islands) I have seen that in general things are run very well.
Just curious if there is some truth to the fact that UK companies (in general) are less prone to continual improvement than their EU counterparts? Could it be that the Island feeling could make this happen? (And I understand that this can come across as criticism but I own that famous dutch direct attitude and fail in diplomacy like even our diplomats often do. Hell, we even had a foreign minister and diplomat called ‘Ben Bot’ which translates to ‘I am rude’ in English!)
