Hi,

I have seen some of Brewers wagon and drags on here before I will try to find one, I think it was a Guy big j4. Are you on about Nortons removals, which was part of Nortons Transport from Thornton-Cleveleys. I remember they had a warehouse in Bispham back in the seventies.

Hi. I used to work for brewer and turnbull in 1976 and 1977. I drove the big j wagon and drag a couple of times on multi removals, not a great experience, may I add! We used to work away all week then , and used to do quite a bit of work for their office on Poole Harbour, my regular helper a was a big lad called Steve power, I think he went to Australia, . Yes we did quite a few container removals and packing for people emigrating to Australia, and also removals for army families to Germany,

Hi I drove the Guy j4 wagon and drag in 70s mainly to Scotland .

Happy times My mate with was called Chuck good guy to work with. Brian Marshal was transport manager I would appreciate pics if anyone has some

Hi,

I worked in removals during the early eighties for a company called Stubbs Removers from St.Annes. Many of their staff were ex Brewers, I am sure Brian Marshall worked for them in the late eighties. Back then If my memory serves me correct, Brewers had been taken over by Whittles from Preston and ran under the banner of Mr Mover. They had a storage place at Abbey Mill near Darwen.

The only picture I have was one I downloaded many years ago.
