Major trucking news coming in from South West London.
There was a time when no commercial vehicles, even minivans, were allowed in the Royal parks in London, the exception being Bushy Park as it had a bus route running through it.
Bless him
How excited he must be, eg, to see apples growing on a tree, or ducks swimming on a pond, etc

I’d been pimped out to Carlsberg a couple years ago when the Queens something or other Jubilee was on and a few of us were dropping trailers full of booze in the Royal Parks in preparation of the festivities. It felt really weird driving a 44 tonnes through the parks with everyone stopping to stare! I could almost read their minds; “look out, another ■■■■ following his sat nav !”

They still aren’t, including in Bushy Park and the wide roads around Buckingham Palace. I’m surprised he could get a big lorry into Richmond gate; it’s quite narrow.
Richmond Park used to be shut from dusk to dawn so the road from Richmond to Kingston was chaotic during the winter, traffic tailed back for miles.
Constitution Hill, next to Buck House used to be closed on Sunday mornings so HM could have a lie in.
Dont know whats sadder. The fact that this “event” was so exciting to this guy he had a laugh at it AND wrote into the papers,or the fact that the standard of letter coming in was so low that THIS was deemed exciting enough to print!

I think it’s what they call a “slow news day” item.
What’s even sadder is the you and I have responded to it.
Is this from Viz?
Are there any legit agencies mine is screwing the govt for trainining their brothers mothers andpets for training money as all the existing drivers won’t run bent …this industry is corrupt to the core
I’m hoping to get a job running bent for a cowboy agency how much will I have to pay …
And up it pops again spouting bollox on a thread that has nothing to do with the bollox it is spouting.
Unfortunately this post appears to have caught a mild case of “Mercury Herpes”. This will manifest itself as an irritating ■■■■■ But please do not worry, if you just ignore it, it will go away, possibly flaring up from time to time, nothing serious.
However if you engage in some forms action with said irritating ■■■■■ this can lead to the spread of this disease, possibly even leading to it going viral, with multiple replies, all about how ■■■■ agencies are, with no regard for the thread topic…
Duly noted F-reds. I shall keep schtum in future. Not that I have anything particularly against someone posting gibberish and bollox, hell, I’m prone to doing it myself, but when that numpty bombards every thread no matter what the subject with what are English words but in no discernable order it kind of vexes me a tad!

Sorry Maoster, wasn’t really a dig at you mate, just a bit of a warning to the slightly less aware, some might accidentally take him seriously!

if you have a reason to go in [delivery]then you have to get permission via a phone call at the gate
