Yup last night’s snow I know many faced it but here is ny journey.
Just grabbed my trailer from Middlesbrough and about to head for Warrington with it when the snow arrived being a fairly new c+e driver I felt a bit out of my depth but hay the only way to gain experience is to experience it.
So my plan
1st off all time concept can go out of the window, I don’t need to be a hero il get there when I get there.
2, take each mile as it comes nice and steady
So off I go Warrington bound at first it wasn’t to bad but then the snow got thicker covering the lanes and the wind was battering the truck.
Down to just following tracks and next to no vision for almost an hour I come to the M1 and a horrible reminder of what could be.
2 jackknifed trucks about 100 yards from each other, my ■■■ started nibbling the seat at this point so I eased off a tad more, the M1 was pretty much the same all the way trucks and cars skidding and or stuck.
I kept to the easy does it saying and it paid of along with keeping my eye on the ball and thinking well ahead.
I arrived in Warrington 3 1/2 hrs after leaving Middlesbrough. Not the biggest of drives I know but long enough for me.
Anyway dropped the trailer grabbed an empty and heads for base.
2 mins later set traffic lights and who gets stuck lol, meeeeee. 
Difflock was on so tc off dumps the air and I’m in a auto scania with a clutch so got her rockin and soon enough she was Rollin 
May not be the done way but used my initiative and it work
20 mins later roles into base a big sigh of relief and the is complete with no real dramas.
I hope the troubled truckers are ok from last nite are ok but to the steering wheel attendants that felt the need to go full steam ahead and put everyone else in danger
Just why?
Anyway that’s my boring story but it helped you to pass/waste 5 minutes
