Has anyone got any idea about Bowker Preston and its pay rate?

Mostly Wag & Drag or used to be, and the pay wasn’t the best ,can’t recall what the rates where , but it was around 10 years ago when i enquired
No idea on pay but they are decent outfit with decent kit and the bosses want everything done properly (strapping etc) and the trailers have the proper kit to do it. That’s all I know really.

That’ll be for class 2, it will be the dizzy heights of £8.50 for class 1. The majority of firms in Preston are awful payers that shouldn’t be able to get drivers, but while people are stupid enough to work for that money they’ll carry on paying it
Bowkers bought the Potter Group and there turnover has doubled from 15m to 30m,but they showed a loss of 662k.to cover these losses they have to borrow more money or get the drivers to accept less.
