Bourg en Bresse,weight limit

Signed up at 6 ton weight limit, but that is only for the historic town centre,i have gone around the town on their dual carriegeway by pass, and the local police and Gendarmes have seen me,and not taken action,as no law has been broken, there are numerous restaurants and a few Rouitiers south of the town, along with cheap multi-chain hotel/motels such a Formulea 1,etc.
If heading to Italy, the national road is the signed up at a 19 ton limit, heading to Morestal, but once again,i had no police stop,as the small towns/villages all have by passes for HGV traffic, and off course,Rouitiers for some of that French hot water with coffee in it,yuk.
There are a few hills, but no major drama, the oxgygen mask did not drop down in my cab due to high altitude.I saw many Italian trucks with “Tillyban”,drivers, sorry, due to political correctness and hightened terror alerts,im not saying the other nickname for cheap former Eastern block drivers.
Worst case scenario, write out a dodgy CMR for a fake place you may be tipping at on the route, and pray the old bill dont ring or ■■■■■■ you to the factory or depot you put on the CMR,but i have not heard them to do that, wasting French tax payers money, when there are srikes to be had, against Sarko`s pension age increase,at least they do something about it,and dont sit back and moan, like some nations, the government in France works for the peolpe, not the other way around, like in the UK.
