Any comments or opinions on these folk?

Contemplating applying, it’ll be my first Class 1 job, not driven one since my test 2 years ago.

Am I wasting my time, or does anyone know if there would be a period of familiarisation or mentoring?

Cheers
N

No brainer - apply!! It’s a big set up - - over 100 units on the road. It would be amazing if it didn’t have it’s own training department with a proper induction process.

Let us know how you get on - don’t talk yourself out of it.

Fleet always looks spotless. Only 5 or so mins away from home too.

Go for it then!

go for it mate, good luck

You will never find out if you don’t try. Go for it and best of luck.

Question:- Is there any information on here about tachograph training, breaks how long we can drive and rest periods etc that i can look it up Thanks.

You’ve been a member on here for quite some time. There are certain things you should know by now.

I start with Boughey tomorrow, no C+E experience and they’re giving me a shot. Full days induction and training tomorrow, hopefully they give me a go at a few reverses in the yard to practice before they send me out properly.

The trucks are spot on too, looking forward to getting to grips with them

Hope it goes well for you. Don’t rush. Listen to your mentor.

Awesome, that’s given me a real boost, hope all goes well for you

Rather then creating a new thread I felt like asking in here, my bad didnt know yoh will feel unhappy about it.

Application is in, sent them a covering email too.

Hope all goes well

Cheers. Not heard back yet, proper kicking myself for dropping my new phone last week, repair cost £260. If it hadn’t been for that, I’d have booked an afternoon at the place I did my training for a bit of a refresher.

Bricking an assessment, walk round and even uncouple/re couple don’t fluster me, just a bit twitchy about doing a reverse. I can get a rigid in anywhere.

Good job I sent an email to say I had applied by post. Application still hasn’t turned up. Just re-sent it by email.

well in, google macromedia flash player 8, it should give you a tacho simulator to download

I’d point you towards a Bell End simulator, but you don’t need one
