After taking 3/4 sets of boots back to screw fix as the sole was wearing out they gave up & gave me a refund , I used a pair of old stobart boots I found in attic , same thing sole wore out in months , mate had a new pair of boots , wrong size for him so I said I’d have them , 1 month later the sole is wore out , wet feet
If you look at pic you’ll see where it’s wore out , no suprise as tiniest sliver of rubber , most of sole foam
So does any one know of a work boot / shoe etc that has solid rubber soles , not bother about style / price , just getting fed up with constant wet feet ( is it me as I can’t remember this years ago with work boots )
I feel yer pain doze.
The boots our lot supply are total cheap sh (as usual) so my mate gets me boots from his place…(.you know me doze owt for nowt. , coffee boots etc )
This is after only 7 months., I got these about 10 months ago , put them in cupboard for a bit, as I only wear them with shorts, (my others are slip on Chelsea type boots which look ridick with shorts, ) so as I say only after about 6 or 7 months wear the soles are worn out in places.
I’ll need to complain,.and tell him to blag me a better quality pair this time.
It could be oil, grease and diesel in the yard that wears them out quicker but for advice where to buy good boots , try the builders merchants.
The heavier the vehicle the quicker the tyre wears.

Dewalt Titanium.
Not cheap, but you will not get wet feet, keep 'em polished so they stay supple and last.
Dewalt Challenger 2 was the best workboot i ever had, instant comfort from the moment you put them on, Challenger 3 not in the same league.
Stop dragging your feet

DeWalt everytime for me - not cheap though as Juddian says. Comfy from the get go.

But if the vehicle doesn’t move very fast it’s unlikely that there will be any tyre wear, just a few flat spots if it is standing too long, though the potential for a few skid marks is very probable even if it isn’t anything to do with harsh braking, but harsh breakfasting instead
Don’t forget the chicken foot socks too
And the six long metal chain with a wallet attached to it and three weeks of running money inside in cash.
Don’t tell anyone but I do not wear safety boots.
Anything but Dewalt for me. Overpriced crap lol
