Booths Supermarkets are expanding there delivery service to their stores across the Northwest to a full 7 day operation.
This means that they are currently seeking to recruit Class 1 and 2 drivers across their two distribution centres in Preston.
Good to see a local company doing well.

These are fairly local to me and the job actually interests me, but, the current advert doesn’t state a salary. When they advertised about a year a go it did, and it was something like £18700 for 40 hours over 7 days. Which works out around 9 quid an hour and you only do 40. Simply couldn’t afford to live off that so its a no go unfortunately. Unless anyone who drives for them can put me right on that? Then that’s my understanding of what they pay. Shame because they’ve got some nice runs going to stores up in the Lake District and Yorkshire dales etc
