We might cross paths at Fradley or Greenford sometime.,
Nice one, are they Andover? As sure I saw Poole as a address on one of theirs?
I’m off at the end of the month too. Found out today they only want a weeks notice even though contract says 1 month! Still, only 10 working days to go! lol
Well done mate, good to go onto a firm that does different things, just do well and you good be there years doing different tasks, well done.
Yeah mark in Andover on the walworth ind est, where you off 2?
Im glad to have found somewhere no more weekends more time at home with the family.
I plan to stay there for a long time and hopefully move on to the heavy haulage side or the gen whichever comes up.
Off to drive a machine on the railway in Swindon. COOP has just about finished me with paper work and supervisors with no clue. That and constant hassle at stores with customers and staff!
Good luck with it mate!
So first day went off with a bang…
Start at 7am finding pallets for my run round salisbury after all thats done off to my first drop 6 pallets at Co-op ha can’t get away from it.
So all going great till i messed up royal style went to do a trailer swap and forgot to undo the abs lead and bang ripped it clean off i couldnt beleive it in all my time driving i have never done that!
I was gutted though they would sack me on day one, but they were fine day 2 on my own so hopefully things will be better, i don’t know if it was nerves or pressure to get done and prove myself.
fingers crossed.

Class 2 : 26/7/12
Class 1 : 22/8/ 12
You’re still a baby yet mate, don’t worry about it. I’ve lost the full bloody set of lines once (well, the electrics just come out tbh) when distracted during dropping a trailer, never get distracted, if you do anything else, always start your sequence again from the beginning.
Wait until you leave your number plate on the trailer you dropped 60 miles away before bob-tailing it for your next trailer only to realise you’ve got no numberplate

Bummer lol when I did palletways in artic without tail-lift was decent job, hardest part is getting in/out some places… With a tail-lift can be pita sometimes when you get 1T pallets
well done … chill out take it easy and you aint the first and last to pop the lines … trick is just stretch em like the old washing line
Fair play mate best of luck probably see you around!
Yeah its not too bad with a tail lift, ive only had to use it once in 3 days so its all good. Yeah some of the drops are tight esp round churchfields ind est. But im enjoying it and most of all weekends off.
