Booking in security gaurds

i was delivering to an rdc this morning when a cypriot registered artic pulled up in the next lane to book in for his delivery, the security man checked his seal and paperwork and told him to go to goods inn when suddenley the over educated guard asked the driver"why have you 2 different number plates on your vehicle"…1 for the tractor 1 for the trailer…??he then refused the cypriot driver from entering the rdc as he said he was commiting a crime, this driver didnt hav a clue what this security man was shouting about and he then informed his head of security who has now decided to phone the police to report and arrest this driver for using 2 sets of numberplates on his vehicle,i spoke to the security to tell them that in most eu countries a trailer has a seperate registration and the unit also a seperate one…but No i was wrong and the security will not let me in either as i was talking bollx and was a part of the plan to use 2 numberplates to get access in to the rdc and deliver my load…im now waiting for the police to arrive to get arrested and sent to prison as i have committed a crime
As was told by the tottally thick we are right and you are wrong security team…[zb] unbelivable.

they all come out of the same mold. thick as pig [zb].
i’ve had it at the olympic stadium, my tax disk was out of date (the new one being at the yard in coleraine 500 miles away), so i was refused entry as i had no insurance. :unamused:
in belarus, they wouldn’t let me in because i had the same plate on the trailer as the unit. they let me in eventually, but got nicked for something else later.

i can’t wait for the outcome from the police. good luck.

I had this in reverse in Germany in the 70’s. I was driving a caravan transporter and had a couple of spare number plates on the body. Fritz and his helicopter must have spotted them and called out the Gestapo

I am interested in the outcome with the Cypriot though. Hilarious :unamused:

I imagine the eventual last word from the extra dumb security man will be, “well I will let you in this time”

Well I hope your boss is going to present the RDC or the security company with a big bill for waiting time until this matter gets sorted out.

Are the local press en route with a reporter yet??

Anyway, local plod turned up and havnt got a clue and the security are trying to explain to plod that theyhave apprehended us for a criminal activity regarding number plates.traffic car shows up and explains to security that in other Eu countrys there are a legal and complu with our laws also…im laughing my ■■■■ off at the security gaurd for being wrong and a totall knob.anyway this poor cypriot drivers has now booked in and my load has been refused due to me missing my booking time!!!all because off a king ■■■■ security gaurd who was proved to be wrong! I was there on my booking in time when all this crap was going on…my boss is really pi55ed off now!..what the [zb] is going on in theese peoples heads

Jobsworths/little Hitlers, the country is full of the cretinous roger hunts.Best laugh at the know it all idiots.

They spend all day on their own in a crappy little security hut, after a while i imagine it makes you pretty bitter and an opportunity to ■■■■ other people off and cause a bit of trouble makes them feel better about themselves.

Same can apply for drivers, i have come accross plenty of militant jobsworth drivers as well refusing to do this and that, usually at retail drops trying to wind up the shop staff.

If i ever become a jobsworth i wish to be shot.

Not a bad idea - this is the type of incident which ought occasionally get into the media to let the public see what lorry drivers have to put up with.

With an invoice for the original delivery and the waiting time, as well for the eventual delivery (if that makes sense), I can see it being down to the JC for the security guard after the company’s got two bills for the same load!

It would put the top hat on it if the plod charge them for wasting police time, either financially or judicially

It is quite alright to shame the company and the security company. After all G4S are already quite newsworthy

The ball’s in your court, OP!

It just shows"the lunatics really have taken over the asylum",lets just hope that the security co & RDC get taken to the cleaners by the hauliers solictors & charged with wasting police time! These unaccountable morons should held personably liable for expences incurred, it may just sharpen their focus!! but I doubt it as they are terminaly stupid!I would enjoy one of them to join TruckNet and defend their actions :open_mouth: :open_mouth:

in my case, it would have been a simple reply

“sign that to say you’re refusing it, and i’ll take it back”

job done
